After playing Jame'a annoying games we decided to watch movies.I obviously picked "To all the boys I've loved before " and he picked "Knives out" which is a great movie too .I have to admit,he has good taste.
After watching my movie first James immediately commanded that I let him write me letters the same way Peter did for Lara Jean.No ,I will not admit that made my heart swoon.Well ,I guess I just did.
We went out in the lunch room and sat next to each other with our classmates eyes on us.I feel tense .James rubs my shoulder.
"Relax Springs ,they're just people"
"I know ,that's the problem"-I hiss and stuff my face in my food to avoid looking anyone in their eyes.
James moves his arm around my chair and starts devouring his burger with his free hand.
How can he eat so fast?
Av and Xander walk into the room and sit across from us .
"So lovebirds "-Avery starts
"How 's this trip going for you two?"
"I can ask the same question to you "-James turns to face her.
"I heard about you being sick ,hope you start to feel better "
"Hell yeah she will"-Xander chimes in
"I'm taking good care of her"
"I bet you are man"-James chuckles .
"Jade have you seen the room service guy ,he's so hot"-Avery tells me and both James and Xander almost choke on their food.
"Yeah I saw him around ,damn those muscles "-I sigh .Avery smirks at me.Frankly,I had no idea who this room service guy is .I'm not even sure they have room service here.But the boys bought it.
"I have muscles "-James drops his burger and flexes.
It takes everything in me not to stare.
"Sure you do sweetheart "i pat his cheek.He smiles.

"Alright everyone!"—Ms Susan yells.
"We're going to slide in the mountains ,so I suggest you grab a partner and follow me "
James grabs my hand instinctively.
We start following everyone else ,Av and Xander in front of us.
"I have to admit something "-I start ,siting on the slide .
"I'm scared "-I confess.I hate heights.
"I'm here Springs "
"Do you really think I'd let anything happen to you?"-James sits behind me ,which makes me automatically lean into his chest ,wrapped around his legs .This is so uncomfortable.
James seems to be having no problem .Probably cuz he's taking all of the space.
"Tell me about this new book you've been reading "-he suddenly says ,while I hear every breath he's taking along with his heartbeat.
"Seriously Henderson?"-i scoff
"I admit something honest to you and you talk to me about something completely off topic ?"
He smirks.And that's when I realised what he's doing.He's distracting me .He's asking me to talk about my book so I wouldn't notice when we started sliding.
Wow that is actually kinda sweet.
Which worked cause I didn't even notice we had started moving .
We slide but if feels like we're flying.
We move sideways and the adrenaline I feel Is undescribable.The view is incredible.
"Wohooo!"-James doesn't hold on anywhere ,his arms in the air.
"James !"-i yell.
"Be careful!"
"Yes mum"-he rolls his eyes.
"Come on ,loosen up!"-he grabs my arms and puts them in the air .Panic washes over me.
"Stop James!"-i say between laughter.I couldn't contain it.
"Not until you admit this is fun !"
"I won't do that!"
"Then I won't let go of your arms"-he breaths into my ear ,since we're sitting so close.
"Fine "-I sigh
"I'm having fun!"-i yell ,making sure he heard me.
"Alright Springs im right next to you ,no need to yell"-he laughs.
I laugh with him .
This isn't right.But it sure as hell feels right.
After our little adventure I make myself some hot chocolate and sit on a small bay window ,that was hiding very secretly.I did have to pass every single room to find it in a small corner but it was worth it.The view form here was amazing.
I let out a small sigh.Today had been good.Jame's hadn't gotten on my nerves for a full day so that's progress.
Speaking of the devil ,there he is .
James somehow found this place too and is now struting over .He actually looks kinda cute in his large white sweater and his little cowboy boots.
He sits down next to me ,not saying anything.
And then "Damn Springs you didn't get me a hot chocolate too?"
"Do I have to take care of myself?"-he scoffs.
"Hum you're your own person ,so yes ,yes you do"
"Nuh uh"-he shakes his head.
"You're my girl so you take care of me now "
"Fake girlfriend "-I remind him.
His smile falls and something like hurt flashes his eyes.
"Right but still "
"If I write you notes I expect you to buy me milkshakes everyday"
"You said you wanted to write me letters ,I didn't make you "-I inform him.
"Plus I don't even know your order "-i lie .I know his order damn well.
"Baby,you know I can tell when you lie to me right?"-he shoots me a grin.
