My head hurts.My head also somehow burns .My head is also wondering who's fucking strong arms are carrying me somewhere.
"His eyes are open!"-i recognise that voice immediately.Jade.
Damn since when does she care ?
Im not complaining though.
Im carried around more until i plop down on a couch that i finally register.
Av's basement.
I start to see more clearly and i spot red hair.
Jade is standing over me with a giant standing next to her.That's Drew i realise- after staring at his face for like a full minute.
"What the fuck happened?"-i ask ,suddenly not being able to remember anything from the past hour.The last thing I remember is sharing a lovely dance with Jade.
And then it being ruined by my dad's glares and my mom's eyes full of tears,talking about how much she had planned for Emma's 18th too.God I couldn't stand it ,couldn't bear the way he still tried to make her feel small even in that moment-the way he tried to push her inside ,as if a few tears about her dead daughter are embarrassing-like grief is some kind of a hate crime.
"You drank to much and you passed out "-Jade was quick to answer but I didn't miss the look she shared with Drew.Somethings up.
"Mhmm..."-i question her quick answer.
"You gotta lay the drinking down man"-Drew lets out an awkward laugh .
"Right "-i give them both a weird look.I don't belive any of this.
But I don't really care .All i want now is some goddam water.
As if reading my mind Jade hands me a glass of water and i take my time enjoying her hand brushing into mine.
"Thanks "-is all i manage to say.She nods.Civil Jade,civil.
I try to stand up but almost stumble down, but thankfully Drew mamages to get ahold of my shoulder.
After a few minutes of me trying to settle down someone burges in.
Xander basically kicks the basement door open as he walks over to me and gives me a tight hug.I slowly hug him back laughing "Man i should get drunk more often if that means this many people will care about me"
Again ,i don't miss the look Xander gives Jade.What the hell is going on ?
Av then also walks in ,looking beautiful in that purple dress ,may i add.
"Ah ,birthday girl come here "-i say and she runs to give me hug.What is wrong with these people?
"James ,are you feeling better?"-Av asks,concern written all over her face.
"Um duh why wouldn't i be ?"-i ask ,confused on why everyone is treating me like a fucking baby.
"No reason ,it's just..you were drinking so much and i was worried"-she finishes her sentence.
"It's your birthday Av ,of course im gonna drink"-is al i say
She laughs and i smile.
"You know what screw the party we'll all celebrate here"-Av decides -without really asking any of us.
"Okay?"-Jade says ,questioning her decision.
"Hell yess!"-Xander agrees with Av .Loverboy.
And that's how we ended up eating pizza and watching the girl's favourite rom-coms all night.
