""Is it gonna be really cold ?"-My best friend's pout ,and her fling of hair covers the view of our lovely school building as she huffs .
"i hate the cold-Avery complains while we're getting ln the school bus ,shivering already even though we're still on school grounds.
"Aves it's a SKI trip ,of course it's going to be cold "-i answer as i put our luggages inside and hop into the bus ,Av behind me."Besides you're the one who begged me to come "
We sit at the far end of the bus and i immediately put on my headphones and play the playlist i made for when I travel .
As soon as the first song plays ,noise so loud fills the bus -that I can hear it even through both earbuds.
James has arrived together with Xander.
They walk and dab up all of their stupid friends until they finally tower over us.
I look up to find James smirking down at me.
"What do you want asshole?"-i pull the earbud out ,giving him a deadpan look.
"That's no way to talk to the love of your life ,baby"-
He leans down and presses a kiss on my forehead,his palm cradling my hair softly.
Im gonna kill him ,but for now all i can do is smile up brightly at him .
"Avery im asking you this in the nicest way possible,but move please"-he lightly pushes Avery towards another chair .
"Don't ever touch her like that again"-i warn him -and he sighs ,bowing down slightly in front of Avery-who is staring at me with a confused look-"I am deeply and utterly sorry madam -please do find it in your heart to forgive me -for i was just so ..distracted by my lady's ravishing looks "
Avery lets out a loud snicker ,patting his head quickly "Fair well -move along now peasant " -i roll my eyes at Avery's participation on his theatrics.
James gasps at her words as if they physically striked him while Xander moves to sit next to Av and im happy about that.What im not happy about is that i have to spend the next few hours next to James.
"Im tireeed"-He drags out,with a small pout .
"Tough break " -I shrug ,turning my head towards the window .
"Jade ?" -he questions -voice softer than Ive ever heard him before .
"Mhm?" -I respond -head still leaned on the window .
"Can I please use you as a pillow ?"-
"Absolutely no-he cuts me off by leaning his head on my shoulder.
In front of me Heather walks by ,greeting some of the girls with air cheek kisses her -for once -real smile dropping once she spots us ,as she fixes me with a death stare .I smile at her.James leans closer to me -his nose practically pressed into my shoulder.
"I brought my camera"-his muffled voice makes me turn my attention to him.
"You know,so we can record Avery's and Xander's cute "-he makes sure that word is air quoted-"moments for your little film"
"That's good"- i respond and prepare myself for a looongg trip .

We all get out of the bus and my face immediately turns red as im hit with the cold air.Why didn't i wear a fucking scarf?
I shiver slightly suddenly feeling a ping of jealousy for my dear friend who has practically wrapped her curls into her huge scarf.
