A warm breeze passed by the lone figure indicating the fast approaching summer. The darkness fully wrapped the sky, the moon hung low casting a soft silver glow over the lies and deceit below.

Hazel-brown orbs stared at the imperfect porcelain circle above, he gazed in peace, immersed in its silence and tranquility. The traits he was longing for.

"I was right. I will find you here, Ayanokouji-kun." a soft voice distracted his focus.

He turned his head towards the uninvited guest. Brown-hair flew by the gust of the wind, her delicate hand trailing into the cold railings as she slowly closed the distance between them.

The dreamy atmosphere was perfect for love to bloom. But the young man didn't share the same thought, his eyes narrowed, the expression on his face was grave.

"What do you want, Kushida?" he spoke with annoyance.

Ayanokouji was used to ignoring all those peering eyes - carefully observing his every action - since his childhood as if they didn't exist. But the case was different nowadays when just hearing a particular name was enough to gain/distract his attention.

Which is the reason Ayanokouji was here, standing alone before the railings between the land and the sea, embracing the short peace in his under the moonlight which he could only experience at night.

Then an unwelcome guest appeared, she earned his rare glare. Kushida stopped in her tracks, she felt something dangerous was clutching her heart, it's the first time she saw this side of Ayanokouji.

"I just want to spend time with you, is that not okay?" she averted her gaze, slightly scared of meeting his gaze.

He pondered, Kushida was registered as an annoyance ever since the first week of the start of his highschool career. She disrupted his peaceful life; chimed in on his conversation with Horikita, tried to fit in with them, mostly present on serious matters that involved him, acting cute while secretly seducing him, and many more. He was ready to turn her down one time but she insisted that she wouldn't give up until he would fall for her.

But that's not all, he felt something for her, not in a romantic way but in a sense of wariness. If he wanted to know her secret, now's the perfect time.

"Do whatever you want." he responded as he returned his gaze to the sky.

"Thank you." her lips arched up, forming a warm smile enough to melt the chilly atmosphere. Kushida continued walking towards him and stopped a few steps before him.

"The moon is beautiful, isn't it?" she muttered to herself. She secretly glanced at the boy, and felt sad when she found he neither answered nor had any reaction. He just gazed at it in silence.

Aside from his unfriendly greetings earlier, Kushida had for the first time witnessed him being seriously immersed over something. He's usually nonchalant and easy to get along with but awfully blunt when provoked. Ayanokouji stopped Sudou's assault in a flash. He didn't even show any difficulty when answering the recent exam and still had the highest score. He changed the flow together with the outcome of Sudou's trial in a short exchange. Almost everything he did was like a breeze to him, Kushida didn't believe in a perfect existence in this world, but he proved otherwise.

There might be still more to him than he showed.

"Can I ask you something?" she asked. Kushida turned her head to him, her eyes pleading to look at her but he ignored.

"If you're gonna ask something about dating you, then you're on your own." He responded coldly. It's no use avoiding exchanging words with her as the moment he agreed to let her stay, he's certain she couldn't keep her mouth shut for the entire moment. But he made sure to draw a line, before she got ahead of herself.
