CLASSROOM OF THE ELITE X QUINTS: Complicated Feelings

A certain store located in the school building lobby. Its exterior cladded with thick transparent glasses called curtain wall, all inside activities were clear outside; students, menu, tables, chairs, staff etc.

Two students, a girl and a boy, occupied a spot with three chairs, saving the remaining one for a certain student, who was on her way.

The moment the class bell rang, Hirata and Kushida rushed to the Pallet Cafe and successfully secured a table for their planned meeting.

Now they only had to wait for Ichinose to arrive, and speaking of the devil, a blonde strawberry haired girl appeared at the glass-made door.

Ichinose entered the cafe. Her purple gradient eyes scanned the surroundings and found a small hand waving in the air, grabbing her attention.

She checked the owner of it and saw a familiar girl from a different class, Kushida Kikyo. Beside her is the popular lad from the same class and a member of the school's soccer club.

"Sorry for making you wait, Kushida-san and Hirata-kun." she bowed her head, apologized.

"It's totally fine, Ichinose-san. We understand that you'd some important matters to attend first, considering you're the class representative of Class B."

"Thank you for your understanding, Kushida-san," - she pulled the back of the chair and seat. - "I convinced Kanzaki-kun to provide his cooperation, but sadly he refuses."

Kushida and Hirata exchanged glances and the girl asked,

"Does it mean that this is only your own idea, Ichinose-san? Not from the entirety of Class B?"

Kushida only received her message early morning, asking if she can meet up with her and Hirata after class in regards of Sudou's issue.

They were a bit conflicted upon knowing Kanzaki refused to help, leading them to an assumption that Class B is not united in making this decision. There is also the small chance that Ichinose just decides everything by herself which may likely cause problems between their classes in the future.

"Don't misunderstand, Kushida-san and Hirata-kun," - she lightly shook her head. - "Kanzaki is busy with personal matters. He said he will help us tomorrow. "Class B will give their support to Class D after he saved me back then" that's what they said... honestly, it's embarrassing, tehee." Ichinose averted her gaze with pink flushed in her cheeks.

Hirata simply smiled upon witnessing the maiden-in-love while Kushida was feeling the opposite.

Chaotic storms whirl inside of her, knowing another new rival has appeared to steal the heart of her oh-crush Ayanokouji.

She still felt salty when he completely ignored her like she never existed the other day. She swears to return the favor to the light pink haired girl for being the reason he changed and now there is another annoying one.

Kushida puts on her usual bright smile but she's definitely close to snapping.

"We genuinely appreciate their kind words, Ichinose-san. But we had nothing to do about what happened, it was Ayanokouji-kun's who'd saved you."

"Mhm, let's just leave the small details for later and proceed to the meeting." Ichinose clapped her hands and looked at them.

They nodded, agreeing that they wasted precious time talking about something irrelevant on today's agenda.

"The main reason I called a meeting with the representatives of your class is to propose a mutual and non-aggression cooperation with our class," she paused. "Helping Sudou-kun will be our first step to start the working relationship between our classes. What do you think, Kushida-san? Hirata-kun?"
