The first class of the morning ended. Sakagami picked up his belongings and quietly went straight to the doorway.
15 more minutes before the start of the next class and the students either talked with their seatmates or approached their friends. Manabe and her group hurriedly went to Nino's seat to continue their chatter while five boys - led by Albert - headed towards the exit.
The rest of the class followed the back of the five, curious of the reason they all went together. The classroom was a bit more peaceful than before due to the absence of three troublemakers, and their leader, Ryueen, strangely calmed his temper after the announcement of the proceeding which ended in a tie.
So far, the magenta-haired only make an example to the delinquents like him who dare try to oppose him in the beginning of the school year. The rest of the students then fall in line, afraid to meet the same battered fate as his loyal henchmen, and then he boldly promised to everyone that he would lead the class to Class A.
Ryueen stood up from his seat and walked towards a group of girls. His infamous grin and serpent-like eyes gave the ground shivers as they turned their heads to him.
"Anything we can do for you?" Manabe was the first to react from his sudden presence.
The magenta-haired's intimidating expression reminded her when he first stepped foot in the class. He challenged the boys to meet him in the back of the school after class, but one student; Ishizaki, suddenly jumped on him and then received a hell of a beating. At that moment, everyone saw that Ryueen was dead serious about being the top dog of the class. A number of delinquents and those who thought they could fight met him at the venue and they all experienced the same outcome - defeat.
"I have no business with you, Manabe, so piss off." he shot her a glare. "If I'm correct, you're Nakano Nino, yeah?"
His sharp gaze fell down to the short-haired girl sitting in the chair. Nino was behind the figure of Manabe and Yamashita, and the only one in the group who was composed.
"Ye-" She couldn't finish as the girl ahead of her spread-out her arms, hiding her from Ryueen.
"What do you want from Nino-chan, Ryueen-kun!?" Manabe blocked him despite her heart racing faster than normal from fear.
The magenta-haired clicked his tongue due to the girl's obstinate interference. He reached out his arm and swiftly grabbed Manabe's collar then pulled her closer to his face.
"And you can stop me?" He stared deeply in her eyes.
Large drop of sweat started to trickle down her face, Manabe was too terrified to even say something back at Ryueen.
"Let go of Manabe," Nino yelled. "If you have something to say, spill it!" She turned her head to him. The fearless and blunt side of her returned to protect her friend.
Nino honestly couldn't think of any particular reason why Ryueen set her eyes on her, yet she confronted him amidst the clear scent of danger. Her blue-ocean eyes glared at the boy before her.
"Ku ku," Ryueen released the frail girl as he tossed her at her two other friends.
"Manabe!"
"I'm glad you're easy to talk to, unlike that stubborn ex of yours." Ryueen put down his palm to the table as his gaze cast down on the girl.
"Ex?" She repeated his word, confused about the reason Ayanokouji was brought up.
"Yes, that guy who you dumped in front of the entryway," he said in a volume enough for everyone to hear. "The infamous unfaithful Ayanokouji."
