Blankly staring at the front, I, Ayanokouji Kiyotaka, am patiently waiting for the bell to ring.

I've already learned today's lecture during my stay in that place so instead of listening, I spent the rest of the time thinking of stuff that isn't related to class.

I almost overdid it yesterday…..sighed.’

“What?” I slightly glanced at my side, asking a question to the person who I caught staring at me for a while now.

“I'm not sure if you noticed it, but you gotten soft from the first time we met.” she said in a low voice while looking at the front.

“.....maybe..” I answered, although a bit surprised.

That came out of the blue coming from someone as Horikita.

But hearing that I got soft makes me want to burst into laughter after what happened yesterday.

If Horikita was present there, I'm absolutely certain that she would call me the worst of the worst of how I cornered a playful fox that is trying to challenge me in my own game.

Right after my business with the girl named Ichinose was done. I then walked towards the detour to the dorm that only a few students will  pass by.

I leaned my back from the trunk of a cherry blossom tree, hiding myself not from the submerging sun but to a certain someone.

‘I was willing to play along to be honest, but today, you have crossed the line.’

Your plan may work if your assessment of me about being a guy that gets easily carried away from a beautiful girl is on point. Unfortunately, I was the one who led you into that thought, thinking that I am one.

Checking the time on the screen of my phone, I mumbled, “Right about time.”

I then walked away from the shade and slightly glanced at the person walking towards me.

Still wearing the school's white dress shirt with the blazer tied around her waist, Ichika stopped on her track upon noticing me standing in the middle of the path.

“Aya–” she immediately closed her mouth, pretending that she didn't know me.

I completely turned my face towards her and slowly closed the gap between us.

She didn't say anything nor move, just absentmindedly stare at my walking figure.

“Hi, Nino.” I casually said.

“Eh?” she was confused. “I'm sorry but you got the wrong person.”

As expected of someone who is doing acting as a part time job, she gained back her composure quick.

Ichika then picked up her phone and was about to type something to the screen but failed when I stand in front of her and whispered,

“Of course you're not her.” I back away then catch her gaze. “It seems that you're having a lot of fun there, Ichika.”

A hint—no, a clear confusion can be traced in her expression as I observed her pupils trembling in uneased.

“..... Haha you're a funny guy.” she lightly slapped my chest and chuckled.

I didn't respond, only quietly stared at her until she felt awkward and the laughter died down.

“.…… You're creepy, stay away from me.” she tried to walk past me and I simply let her be.

“Not as creepy as someone who disguises as her little sister just to ruin their relationship.” I glanced over my shoulder, looking at Ichika who halted.
