The arrival of the homeroom adviser tenses up more the atmosphere of the classroom. The students who were planning to complain, all lost their courage and remained silent the entire time.
Chabashira-sensei scanned the classroom with those piercing gaze of hers, switching from one student to another, intimidating anyone to break the ice.
"If I may sensei."
"Yes, Hirata-kun."
The male representative of the class pushed the chair and stood up.
"Were supposed to receive our points for this month but there was nothing added." He explained the situation and asked for support from his fellow classmates in which they confirmed. "Is there any kind of issue from the school app, sensei?"
Horikita sighed in relief. She was glad that the person who asked on behalf of the class was a clear headed one rather than the likes of Ike and Yamauchi.
"Actually, all first year students haven't yet received this month's points as ordered by the school. The reason is due to an incident last week."
Almost everyone moved their head to the last seat on the back near the window aside from the narcissistic blond and the red haired boy.
"What the hell did you do?"
Ike was a bit irritated towards Ayanokouji when the latter ignored Kushida and failed to control his emotions.
This caused the other students to start whispering to each other, mentioning about the school entrance incident between Ayanokouji and Nino.
"I thought he got dumped. Are there more stories about them?"
"Maybe they have done the deed and Ayanokouji blackmailed her using it and the school found out."
"Why are we even involved in something that guy did?"
However, the person in question didn't bother humoring them and just gazed outside of the window.
"Hey, I'm asking you, bastard."
Ayanokouji sighed openly and then faced Ike directly. His hazel brown eyes lack any sign of life and are deep as the abyss makes Ike shiver on his seat.
"Is there any problem?"
They already gained everyone's attention. If Ike were to suddenly back down after calling out Ayanokouji, he would be labeled as a coward by the others.
He clenched his hand and was about to continue when Chabashira-sensei decided to step-in.
She cleared her throat, loud enough for everyone to hear to prevent the misunderstanding from escalating further.
"You lots are blaming the wrong person."
They returned their heads to the front and waited for her to continue.
"It's a fact that one of the students involved does belong to this class, but it's not Ayanokouji-kun." she paused. "I'm quite shocked knowing how most of you believe the student who got the highest score in this class brings trouble to everyone." she said it in an obvious sarcastic tone.
They lowered their heads, feeling guilty for suspecting Ayanokouji without any evidence.
"But haven't you heard about Ayanokouji being dumped by a girl from Class C, Sae-chan-sensei?"
However, Ike continues to prove his point which earned him a stern response from the teacher.
"Shut your trap, Ike-kun. You are the first one who jumped from conclusion." - she scanned the classroom again and stopped her gaze at the red-haired student. - "Sudou-kun and some students from Class C got in a fight. That is the reason the school delayed the points distribution."
