Naeun's POV,
It's been over two weeks since that heated argument with Taemin at Bomi's place, and yet nothing has changed between us. Since then, he's been spending almost every day with Yongrae over there, while we continue to give each other a wide berth. Our disagreement remains unresolved—Taemin still wants to reveal Yongrae and our history to the world, while I'm just as determined to keep those memories buried, hidden from everyone.
As the days drag on, Taemin often brings Yongrae to his house after school, especially when Bomi's not around. But I haven't been able to step foot in that house since the argument. It used to be a sanctuary for us, filled with memories I once cherished. Now it's an emotional battlefield, one I'm avoiding to protect myself from the pain of what it used to mean.
Despite everything, I've caught myself obsessively scrolling through news articles and social media, reading about Taemin's rumored revelation. It's hard to see the protesters outside the entertainment company. Taemin tries to shrug it off, telling me it's his burden alone, but my heart aches for him—and for Yongrae. As much as he tries to reassure me, I can't help but worry about the toll it might take on our son.
Meanwhile, my days have been consumed by a major campaign project involving Jihoon and a few other celebrities. It's kept me busy, so busy that it almost feels like Taemin is spending more time with Yongrae than I am. That thought gnaws at me in ways I don't want to admit out loud.
And as if the situation with Taemin isn't complicated enough, the rumors about Jihoon and me have only gotten worse. They've escalated from gossip to full-blown speculation about us being some kind of "future bride and groom." The thought makes me uneasy, considering how I truly feel—or rather, how little I feel—for Jihoon. Lately, he's even been avoiding events where I'll be, as if the rumors make him uncomfortable too.
A sudden knock on the door pulls me from my thoughts. "Come in," I call, and Namjoo enters, carrying a massive bouquet of white roses.
I sigh audibly at the sight of the flowers, feeling a mix of frustration and resignation. "Another one?" I mutter under my breath, already knowing who they're from.
Namjoo chuckles as she hands me the bouquet, her curiosity piqued. "From the same person?" she asks with a sly grin.
I nod, not offering any more details. I don't feel like talking about the one person I'd rather not think about right now.
"Well, he's certainly persistent," Namjoo notes with a knowing smile as she returns to working on the catalogue. I give her a half-hearted shrug, then turn my attention to the small note attached to the bouquet.

Taking YR out today. We're going to a painting session. I've rented out the whole place, so it'll just be the two of us. Don't worry. - T
