"Hey! Wake up, we need to get going, we have soundcheck in an hour!" Kris' voice interrupted my slumber. I did not understand a single word of what he said, it all sounded like gibberish in my morning haze.

"Hm?" I lifted my head from my pillow, eyes still closed.

"Soundcheck. In an hour." I opened my eyes. Kris wasn't even wearing pants yet, which led me to believe he had just woken up himself. His hair was a complete mess. Kris was only wearing a pair of boxers, no t-shirt either.

"Mmm, no."

"What do you mean no? You have to get ready and i need my morning coffee." Kris asked me, hands on his hips. He looked like a mom trying to get her annoying kids to school.

"I mean no. Ne. Nej. I need my beauty sleep." I said in english, slovene and danish - all the languages that i spoke. I curled into a ball and wrapped myself in my duvet like it was my pupae and i was the butterfly. I closed my eyes and nuzzled into my pillow. I just wanted to sleep and stay in bed all day. I grabbed Booze the Goose and tugged him into my body. I must've looked like a little baby.

"Why? It's not like it helps." Kris said and threw a pillow at me. It smacked me right in the face, so i lifted my arm from under the covers and gave him the finger. Kris returned my loving gesture, then he rushed around the room, trying to find a pair of pants. I didn't understand how Kris could just throw his clothes somewhere and not orientate himself of where it landed and where it was. I'd throw my clothes around too - i mean, Jesus, i've got a whole mountain of clothes pilling up in a corner after a couple of days - but i always knew where my stuff were. My mess was an organized mess while Kris' mess was just a mess.

Kris ruffled around under the bed, still not finding his pants.

"Tuva, have you seen my pants? Literally just any pants?" His head shot up. His hair was still in a ruffle, totally all over the place. Today his hair had a lot of curls for some reason. A piece of his hair fell in front of his eyes, tickling his nose so he blew at it to redirect it. It didn't work.

"Nope." Kris sighed at that statement. He got up and continued to look around the room. Kris' boxers wasn't hiding much and i couldn't make myself look away. Kris noticed and giggled while shaking his head and continued to look for them.

I sat up in the bed and grabbed my phone to look at the time.

11.48 o'clock.

Kris was wrong. We didn't only have an hour but an hour and 12 minutes. That meant i had 52 minutes to get ready in since it took 20 minutes to drive to the venue. 12 minutes may not sound like a lot but it meant everything when planning my time. The 12 minute difference could change my entire morning if not my entire day.

"I've literally looked everywhere and i still can't find them." Kris exclaimed.

"How can you not find your pants, you're always so organized?" I asked him. Kris was a very organized person but i guess that didn't stop him from throwing his stuff away.

"I don't know." He answered, scanning the floor.

"Maybe they're under my clothes, over there, in the corner?" I pointed to the corner i had piled my clothes in. Kris went to look and found his black pants under my mountain of clothing. He quickly took them on along with his belt and grabbed his greyish-white sweater and took that on too.

Then Kris walked over to me so i smiled at him with closed eyes. He had a devious smile on his own lips.

"Thanks." He said, leaning over the bed with his hands holding his body up and kissed my cheek. I rested my forehead on his shoulder blade, hiding my face. Kris' hand found my neck and he began stroking me with his thumb.
