Chan couldn't be any more speechless. He almost let the phone slip from his hands when he heard those sentences coming out from Hyunjin.

No..... because Hyunjin was so persistent and sure to himself that he will never accept this offer he's been proposing for hundred repeats. He begged for it but that damn kid's stone heart was just hard to break, leaving Chan to go home with no good news to say to his cousin.

He don't want to disappoint Yongbok so he had no courage to spill those words just yet. He don't know how will he tell his cousin about this.

But now, it was as if the coin was flipped upside down, and Hyunjin – out of the sudden – agreed to let the extra room of his be used by Yongbok!!

"Wait.......really?" He asked, making sure he didn't mishear it or something. He don't wanna assume first.

"Yeah. For real. I'll let him stay here. No jokes." Hyunjin seemed to be certain with his words.

"What changed your mind?" Chan rose an eyebrow, hand resting on his waist.

"Well u-uhm.....you see. I'm in a...shitty situation right now and.....ugh God this is so hard to say..." Hyunjin kept on blabbering on the line that made Chan roll his eyes.

Yep. Knew it. Something has to happen to this kid for him to accept.

"And yeah. I...kinda....sorta... need a....little help from your cousin....to pay the bills."

Chan was smirking as he holds the phone. He shook his head, biting the urge to laugh so he cleared his throat. "Alright. That screams help then. No worries, i haven't told my cousin yet about what happened earlier. He hasn't found a place to stay." From that, Chan audibly heard how Hyunjin exhaled with a heavy relief in it, making him giggle. "Thanks for reconsidering this, Hyunjin. You and my cousin will meet very soon to talk further about the terms and conditions".

"A-Alright *COUGH* Thanks, hyung. Thanks for reconsidering this as well."

"This is not for me. This is for my cousin".

"Y-Yeah. And uhm....i just wanna say sorry again, hyung. Thanks." Then, the line was cut with Hyunjin dropping the call. Chan smiled from ear to ear, happy that finally, he got some good news to deliver to his cousin. He's not gonna have to worry for the place his cousin will stay at. And to top it all, Chan knows very well the owner of that house.

Getting to the contacts once again, he scrolled to search for the name of Yongbok and immediately placed a call for the younger once he found the name, excited to announce the news to his cousin. Just a few rings and Yongbok was fast to pick up the call.

"Hyung? What is it? Is it good news? Did he agree? DID HE AGREE?? WHAT DID HE SAY???" He frantically asked the older, obvious in his tone the anticipation. Chan could only chuckle.

"Yongbok, calm you heart down!" Chan reminded the younger hearing how pumped up and full of energy Yongbok is. He might pass out from this or whatever if he won't calm himself.

"Alright! Alright. I'm calm now. Now tell me, what did that person decide?" Yongbok silently prayed while waiting for the other line to speak, holding his mom's hands for support.

"Okay okay. So.....i talked to him. I did some throw and back talks with him. And.......he denied".

Chan's answer fastly flipped Yongbok's smile, disappointment soon covering it as he looked at his mother.

".....-initially. But he called me again, and he said he's finally giving it a consideration." Chan continued his sentence. There once again, Yongbok changed his emotion to confusion but mostly, happy.
