"Where's Yongbok?!" Chan's voice boomed through the hallway as he sprinted to Hyunjin right after he raced all the way to the hospital. He never felt the sudden rush in his body before until this matter happened. Hearing what Hyunjin told him, Chan wasted no damn time and get his ass over this place.
"He's still inside. They said some doctors were checking him up." Hyunjin answered, feet tapping on the floor to ease his anxiousness.
"What the fuck happened? Why did he fucking pass out? What did you do to him?" Chan held Hyunjin's shoulders and shook him, gripping the muscles like he's the main suspect and not letting him go in any second.
Hyunjin grunted and freed himself from the grip. "Wha- I DON'T FUCKING KNOW WHAT HAPPENED AND I DID NOTHING TO HIM. I was in my room, he said he wanna talk to me, i reply back then afterwards, i just heard a falling noise. When i came out of my room, i saw him already passed out on the floor!" He pushed Chan away, feeling pissed that he was accused simply like that.
He's a bitch, but he doesn't have any intention to actually hurt Yongbok like this. Like what everyone says to him, he's just all bark, no bite.
The older calmed down, guilt slowly painting his face. "S-Sorry, i was just.... I'm just so worried with this news. I-I don't even know how to say it to auntie at all."
"Then don't. Wait for Yongbok until he wakes up and let him tell his mom what happened by himself."
"But, auntie should know about this–"
"Telling her even if Yongbok didn't even tell you to? Hyung, i know you're Yongbok's cousin and you're sick worried but you don't have to be such a heroic nosy for him. Ugh, this is the reason why I'm so pissed at you guys. You always try to get ahead with everyone's decisions. You never know what they actually want. You always go with your own accord." Hyunjin sat down back on the bench, groaning after the sudden confession he made. He wasn't supposed to say such things but he got carried away. It's just that, memories hit him again.
He know it's important for Yongbok's parents to know how he is in here and what is his state but...as far as Hyunjin knows, his young tenant is secreting it all from his parents. Whenever there's a little mess, he opt to keep it and not worry his parents at all.
Why does he know, you may ask? Hah. Let's just say, no matter how many times Hyunjin say that he was so sick listening to Yongbok's stories...still, he keeps listening to them.
"I-i'm sorry, Hyunjin. We didn't know that's what you felt." The guilt added more weight in Chan's chest. He sat beside the young friend and placed his hand on top of Hyunjin's shoulder.
Hyunjin softly wheezed, but not intending to be hilarious. "It's funny. I should be the one saying fucking sorry here. It was me who fucking cranked up like a dog with a rabies that day i pushed you all out. I.....i shouldn't have said those words to you guys." He looks up at Chan, inhaling deeply before spitting out the words he wanted to say weeks ago already. "I'm really sorry."
Hyunjin was caught in surprise as well. In his life, he rarely open up once he's guilty from doing something. But when he does, it was genuine. He always hold back speaking up because his Yang always tells him that it's just a waste of time and no matter how much he explains, people will never change their view on you and at the end, their mind is already painted with that bad action you did. You're already a bad guy in their eyes so what's the point of apologizing?
But now, somehow, he felt that...maybe it was really necessary to apologize. Maybe not always, but do it to the people you hurt the most. It makes him feel good in lots of ways. Like, a ton weight that he's been carrying for days has finally been lifted off of his shoulders.
