"Oh good God! Finally, a soft couch to rest on!" Yongbok stretched out his limbs as he got to taste the pleasure of rest from the long ass journey he went through. As of the moment, they're at Chan's house for an hour or so of rest. Or rather, catching up with the cousins– as what they call.

"Feeling better, huh?" Chan smirked, handing some apple juice and snacks for Yongbok to eat and placed them on the table near the couch where Yongbok is having his sweet sweet rest.

"Jesus, of course I'll feel better after 5 hours of long ride. May i have one, hyung?" The younger raised the pink macaroon.

"You can take more than one, bok-ah. I prepared that for you to eat, not just for display." Chan laughed, taking a seat beside Yongbok who now sat up. The latter grinned wide then shove the tasty snack in his mouth, humming at the taste of the soft treat.

"Oh, where is Jeongin?? I didn't see him here."

"He's shopping with the other boys. They'll be here anytime soon." Chan smiled. "Congrats again, little dragon."

Yongbok cheerfully grinned. "Thanks, hyung. I still can't believe i got accepted. I mean.....THAT RESTO IS ONE OF THE BEST AND HIGHEST PAID resto in South Korea. It's just an honor working there knowing how meticulous and picky they are for choosing applicants."

"Well then your portfolio might have some type of magic for them to be mesmerized. You're just an amazing chef that's why you're accepted, Bok. And you deserved it." Chan couldn't be any more prouder over his cousin. His smiles and greetings of congratulations weren't enough to express the happiness he have for Yongbok.

"I'm really thankful, hyung. Ugh, life couldn't get any better than this. Everything is just....going too well in my life! Just how good the life is." The younger dreamily uttered while he finished the pink macaroon in his hand.

"That someone I know would rather believe the opposite of your statement." Chan muffled a giggle which caught Yongbok's attention, one of his eyebrow elevating.

"The what?"

"The 'Just how good the life is'. He always says life is shit and a pain in the ass."

The younger pouted in confusion. "Why would he even say that?"

Chan just shrugged. "I'm not exactly sure, but it's probably because the rough things he went through all his life. He.....was really not lucky in life, you know? That's why he's so against and so bitter talking about life and whenever he hears anyone says life is good." He couldn't help but to sadly smile, picturing the image of the person who he was referring to.

"Well that's tough. I wanna meet this guy. Maybe i can change his mind by befriending him." Yongbok only said that as merely a joke (he could do it for real too if he want to) but Chan's answer took him in surprise.

"You will. You will meet him very soon, Yongbok...... because he's the owner of the place you'll be staying at."

Yongbok's eyes turned round wide and his mouth hung open from the answer, eyes blinking countless times to sink in the information. And his cute reactions made Chan giggle once again.

"What?? For real???" The younger gasped.

"Yeah."

"Woah." Yongbok was stunned knowing that this gloomy person Chan was talking about is actually his soon to be landlord. The person he's gonna be living with for a pretty long time. From that, it started Yongbok to think if it could be possible for him and this man be friends at all. Base from that little story, Yongbok could already call them total opposites. A Yin Yang, rather.
