One month after

"Gosh, it felt like I've been away from our house for decades, Jesus Christ. I missed our home." Hyunjin almost teared up seeing his beloved house after three months being away from it. Suddenly, everything felt bizarre and foreign.

Hyunjin has been discharged now. He was allowed to go back home as he finally gained some strength to move on his own without relying too much with his dextrose and IV drips. He's still somewhat weak, but he's feeling better than he used to be.

"He missed you too, hun." Yongbok gently grinned while taking Hyunjin's stuff inside their house. Hyunjin could tell his lover was having a hard time taking his package. He insisted on helping but Yongbok really wouldn't want him to lift not even a finger.

But Hyunjin was unstoppable so he carried the toys that were given to him instead. They're simply lightweight so Yongbok didn't dare stop him from lending a hand.

"Good thing I can finally go home and just drive to the hospital whenever I have the sessions. I endured three hellish months staring at the white, blank walls and being immune to the smell of sanitizers. Eugh."

Yongbok giggled, huffing a little as he put down the luggage full of his and Hyunjin's clothes and other shit. "But what you should be more glad now is you can eat what you loved so freaking much. Your doctor told me you can eat more meat now."

Hyunjin enthusiastically jumped. "YES!"

"But just limited. We still need to watch your intake to make sure you'll be fine. And, you're not allowed to eat raw meat so no sushi for you. Everything should be well cooked."

"Ugh! Kill joy." Hyunjin throws his hands up, bouncing on their sofa with utter disappointment.

"And still, no ice cream."

That just completely ended Hyunjin. "WHAT?! Angel please~ Maybe at least a few bites of it. I want my ice creams so baaaad! My ice cream tubs have been waiting for me for months there inside the freezer! They probably miss me~"

Yongbok joins his lover on the sofa and scoops him under his arms, kissing the taller one's scrunched forehead. "It's for your own good, hun. But at least, you wouldn't keep up anymore with... plain goat food." Yongbok adored the way Hyunjin's eyes twinkled, but then he decided to tease him. "I'm just kidding, you're still gonna get 'em."

At the speed of lightning, Hyunjin held his smile back. "So much for putting my hopes up." He caged Yongbok's nose between his two fingers, earning a playful whine from the raven male. "Just make sure to add meat on them, and I promise I'll eat them whole."

"That's my good hun." Yongbok hummed as he claimed Hyunjin's lips. He then fetched his backpack, pulling a long brown envelope. He slid out a paper from the inside, handing it for Hyunjin to see. "I also got the result of your radiotherapy treatment. The treatment really helped a lot to decrease and shrunk your cancer cells."

"As they fucking should." Hyunjin's smirk was filled with relief and delight.

"But we still need to continue monitoring to make sure. However, you're still gonna suffer from the usual side effects of your cancer. But not as bad as before."

"I'm good with that." Hyunjin hated it. But he's kinda grown on it so they're not as bad as before. Still, he would want for those side effects to stop hitting on him and just let him live his life better and free from sickness.

For now, we're still far from that.

"Hun I... I also need to tell you something." Yongbok clutches off of Hyunjin, pulling a few distance from his boyfriend.
