~CHRISTMAS DAY~
Like the words stated on top of this sentence, it is now Christmas and the couple never felt more excited than before celebrating it. They had a wonderful, chilly morning to start that got them snuggling tightly onto each other. They stayed in bed for a few hours just talking random things, stealing a few pecks to each other's lips and tease each other with their morning breaths before they decided to get their ass working to start spreading sense of Christmas to their humble home.
They showered and ate breakfast then had their fun fun time by wearing their reindeer couple onesies and doing the Olaf make-up and laughing at each other's faces. It was not that very tremendous per se but still not as good like a professional made one.
But the thing that should get ahead of everything is that they enjoyed, right?
Afternoon stroke, closing to dusk so Yongbok spent his time preparing meals for Christmas eve and Hyunjin occasionally helps his boyfriend to prepare the dish.
A little later, they decided to set up the decorations around their house to “light up” the Christmas spirit.
"Angel, let me help with the lights. I wanna set the lights too." Hyunjin pushed his request for who knows how many times now because he's worried Yongbok will fall from the ladder especially the outside was snowy and slippery. He was reaching for a pretty high wall to attach the lights so Hyunjin thought his height would be a big help if he cover up for his job.
However, Yongbok kept on refusing the thoughtful man's generosity. He's just worried Hyunjin will get in an accident. He's already got lung cancer and surgery to recuperate. He couldn't afford taking another injury. "No, hun. Let me take care of it. Just tell me if I did anything wrong."
"Not at all. But this line needed to be lifted." The taller pointed to the part of the wall where the light was sagging a bit.
Yongbok immediately fixed the said flaw. "Is it fine now?"
"Yes." Hyunjin gave a thumbs up.
"Turn the lights on now, hun." Hyunjin inserted the plug of the lights to the socket and in a split second, the lights flickered and gave magnificent illumination to the facade of their house. The soft LED colors got Yongbok's jaw hanging.
"Wowwww. I don't regret buying this."Hyunjin nods, taking a quick picture of the result of Yongbok's effort. "Actually, you're right. It's beautiful. Now get your ass down here! You're too high on that ladder."
"Alright alright." Yongbok laughed but still carefully stepped down the ladder, joining Hyunjin to get back inside their house, directing to the kitchen to get the soft cookies and gingerbread man he baked out of the oven. While doing so, a ringtone captured Hyunjin's attention. He figured it's from his boyfriend's phone and smiled seeing the person who contacted his partner.
"Angel, auntie is calling!" Hyunjin accepted the call, standing beside Yongbok so their faces would be inside the camera.
"Hey mom and dad! Merry Christmas!"
"Merry Christmas, auntie and uncle!"
"Merry Christmas too, my sons! Oh, you two are so cute!" Mihyun got hearts flashing on her eyes, loving the couple onesie of the two and the adorably funny Olaf make-up they're wearing.
"Thank you, mom."
"Thank you, auntie."
"What do you guys have for dinner?" The mother asked as she was preparing dinner as well.
Hyunjin tilted the camera to the tray where the cookies are resting and to their dinner table where a couple of plates with various mouthwatering dishes are prepared. "Yongbok served so many dishes but I couldn't eat them all."
