*ONE MONTH LATER*

Days passed quickly that turned into weeks and surprisingly, it has been a month already since that commotion situation from the restaurant with Yongbok and Jongsung. It wasn't easy for Yongbok as he had to attend work while seeing the man who just ruined the life of the person he loves and the person who harmed him every single opportunity he could get.

It was excruciating, but he tried his very best to maintain professionalism with him despite those times where he's imagining putting Jongsung's face inside the broth he was boiling in the pot or just stab him with those sets of knife.

Hyunjin calls him an angel, but come on, he's just a human too! He gets infuriated and mad like other people and even gets brutal with his imagination as well.

However, just after one week, Jongsung stopped attending work and was then announced by Chef Jin that he quitted from Wangjok. It was a mixed feeling of relief, frustration, and sadness for Yongbok. He really couldn't decipher what he felt when Jongsung was finally out of his sight.

But what matters is that, for the whole month that Jongsung was away, Yongbok and Hyunjin's life became quiet and peaceful. In addition, all the text threats just stopped coming into Yongbok's inbox.

Really. Their lives turned normal like a full 180°. As if nothing just happened. And Hyunjin was happy about it. His angel didn't go through misery as he used to for a whole good month.

P.S, there was no police who knocked on his door and interrogated him about that man from Yeongji mount.

Nonetheless, let us go and see the brighter side of Hyunjin and Yongbok's status inside that untold month.

Yongbok had eventually adjusted to Yin, Yang, and Samuel and was even having conversations with Sam, occasionally. They were hanging out and Sam was teaching him some things he learned before like martial arts and makeup. He was beginning to have fun with Sam's presence and honestly...

Hyunjin sometimes couldn't help but to get sour from their interactions.

It annoys him whenever there are times that they get along with things that Hyunjin doesn't find entertaining. He feels like he was being an outcast because of those situations...

but Yongbok always makes him realize that he's never an outcast and no matter what, he's still his top priority and his love will never change for Hyunjin.

On the other hand, inside that whole month, Yongbok was getting more and more astounded with those little changes of Hyunjin's behavior. Like that day after his landlord confessed about his dark past, it suddenly felt like Hyunjin became more comfortable and carefree with him. He started to be relaxed with his emotions and expressions that he doesn't hide his smiles or laughter anymore. If he wanted to laugh his ass out and even roll on the floor, he would do it and not settle with a stifled chuckles.

Lately, he has become more touchy with the young man. Even if he will contemplate for minutes and get shy with the idea, he will reach for Yongbok's hand and hold their hands together, catching the other male off guard. And obviously, making him fall even deeper for his hyung.
Hyunjin would also drape his shoulder around Yongbok, or back hug him every opportunity he gets, pinch his cheeks and nose, and would sometimes play on biting his arm and leave teeth marks on it.

However, if there's one emotion he still suppresses, it is none other than blushing. He's just... really shy to express it. He will always alter it with something jokingly mean words. But Yongbok knows it all too well. He's already read Hyunjin like an open book. He knows what his every emotion means or even the way he speaks, if he's actually serious about it or he's being a trashy, sarcastic bitch.
