The air between the couple were concerningly dense. The nerve-wracking tension was rising. The noise was crisp nothingness. Hyunjin's staggered breaths were blending with Yongbok's queasy ones. The older felt more suffocated than he was when he was attacked by his cancer.

"A-Angel-"

"Hun, I asked you a question. Did you cough out this pool of blood right here?" Yongbok asked once again, his eyes not taking off of the round, thick drop of blood on the white tiled floor.

Hyunjin clenched his fist as he faked up a smile. "It's alright, I'm fine."

"What do you mean it's alright? Do you see this, hun?" Yongbok shakily points at the blood.

"Calm down, angel–"

"I'M NOT GONNA CALM DOWN! HOW AM I GONNA CALM DOWN AFTER SEEING THIS?! YOU WERE COUGHING BLOOD! BLOOD!" Hyunjin's heart clenched. Yongbok was looking at him in utter disbelief.
Getting to Yongbok's side, he was behaving as such because he's aware that once Hyunjin gets to the stage where blood comes with his coughing, a loud siren of warning is about to come up. And that blood, it only signified that the blaring alarm had just wailed.
"Is this the first time?" Yongbok questioned his lover, but Hyunjin replied to him simply by lowering his head, hiding his ashamed face. "Hun, is.this.the. first time?" He repeated, voice thicker and darker than before.

Hyunjin shakily took a deep breath, clutching the hem of his shirt that his knuckles turned pale. "N-No."

"Since when?"

"L-Last month." Hyunjin choked as he spoke, fighting the biggest urge of crying at this moment but he's failing, miserably. Fat tears had finally gathered together to stream.

That sharp inhale Yongbok did, Hyunjin knows he successfully upset his partner. "And you... and you didn't think to tell me at all?"

"I didn't want to worry yo-"

"Jesus Christ, HWANG HYUNJIN! You know how bad this means, right?"

Hyunjin was overwhelmed to the core by Yongbok raising his voice at him, tears unable to hold themselves anymore and he cried in an instant. He felt so much bad for lying to his partner. "I'm s-sorry. I-I just didn't want to be a b-burden. I'm sorry I hid this from you. Stop being mad, p-please."

Yongbok, as if a mysterious wind just blew upon his face, changed his demeanor and cooled down. He sighed, taking Hyunjin in his arms and hugged him in the most comforting way possible. Now he was terribly guilty for how he reacted. He went uncontrollably far and now, he made Hyunjin cry and sob. He knew Hyunjin hated when someone raised their voice at him, but he still did it. He felt horrible.

"I'm not mad. I'm just upset." He tightened his embrace around Hyunjin, kissing the top of his head. "I'm sorry for overreacting. I was just... scared to death when I saw that b-blood. Please forgive me, hun. I didn't mean to be mad."

"I k-know, angel. I'm s-sorry too for keeping it." Hyunjin lifted his head, wiping his tears away. "But don't worry. I'm... okay."

Yongbok cupped Hyunjin's face. "No, you're not. We're gonna go to the hospital now."

"What?" Hyunjin pouted.

"Now. We need to get you a treatment as soon as fucking possible. You've been coughing with blood for a month and this is hella serious. We need to see a doctor right this second."

"O-Okay." Yongbok helped his boyfriend off the floor and directed them to his car, not forgetting to lock the front door first of course.

Just thirty minutes of driving, they arrived at the hospital nearby. Hyunjin was dragged by his boyfriend inside. Hyunjin was frequently having cold feet as they take another step forward. He couldn't figure himself out if he want to do this or not. It's not like he doesn't want to get better and be cured, no. It's just... this is happening all of the sudden. He's not prepared himself yet and his anxiety is becoming worse.
