3rd person's P.O.V:
Finally, the sun roused from its rest. Another day has been set for Hyunjin to deal with.
Hyunjin woke up in his bed. His hands fumbled on his side but to his surprise, he couldn't touch something that used to be owned by the man who slept on it. His eyes finally fluttered open.
The other side of the bed was empty and was left with pillows being neatly stacked. Hyunjin roamed his head around his room. It was tranquil. Free from any noise. The house, in general. There is no visible noise that Hyunjin was sure from Yongbok's. He woke up not hearing any of those.
He looked for his phone to see what time it was already, and he saw that it was now 7 in the morning. 2 hours have passed since Yongbok arrived at the airport. How in the hell he didn't even notice or hear Yongbok getting up from bed? Or showering? Or any movements from the younger that can stir him up? Was he that exhausted last night?
As he was roaming his eyes around the corners, a piece of sticky note caught his attention that was snuck under his alarm clock. He pulled the paper and figured there was a letter in it. He began reading it.
"Hey hyung. I'm sorry if I didn't wake you up when I was leaving. I didn't want you to see me crying. And besides, your sleep is too precious for me to disrupt. I hope you're not mad at me for doing such a thing.
I've made you breakfast, btw! Finish it all, kay? I'll miss you, hyung. Take really good care of yourself here. ♥️
Hyunjin was unable to suppress a sad smile on his face. He appreciated that, at least for the last time(not literally but, you understand) Yongbok still made an effort cooking him breakfast.
He gets up from bed to head to the room opposite to his and opens it.
"Wow. He's really not here anymore." Hyunjin murmurs after seeing the room being neat. Just like how it used to be before Yongbok owned the space. After spending a few minutes staring inside the room, he finally closed the door and went away, heading to his own bathroom to wash himself up.
When done, he straightaway went to the dining room. A food cover is what awaits him on the table. He opened it up and lightly chuckled.
"Pancakes…and his smiley face agenda just wouldn't stop." Hyunjin was amused. There are three pancakes with also three stacks in it. One has maple syrup, the other two has chocolate. And they were drawn with happy faces, of course. Alongside the pancakes, there are three hotdogs, three strips of bacon and three waffles.
Hyunjin wondered. What's with three pieces?
"Yongbok just left me with some weird shit." He sighs, but nonetheless, he sluggishly sits on a chair and picks up one of the three bacon. He hums from the savory salty taste as it made contact with his tongue.
‘He just never fails with his cooking.’
His next target was the stacked pancakes. Before he took a bite of it, he fumbled for his phone and took a snap of the designed pancakes first, keeping it in his gallery as if it was a treasure. He sliced a quarter of the fluffy cake and dipped it in chocolate syrup before taking it into his mouth.
"Fuck~ It's so fluffy." He couldn't hold himself back from moaning from how delicious it was. And the aroma of it just tops it all.
As he was munching the pancake, his phone vibrated; somebody was calling him this early.
