"Astraea, Shoto, let's go, now!"
The Effervescent Hero: Astraea, also known as Rin Takahashi, blasted a nomu with a supernova, catching the attention of nearby pro-heroes who ogled at the fifteen year old who single handedly dismantled the nomu from the air.
Shoto skid to Rin's side, freezing the nomu's body to the concrete.
When they'd arrived in Hosu City that night, chaos had already ensued. Parts of the city were terribly engulfed in fire as nomu attacked civilians while heroes struggled to fend them off.
Even though Enji hadn't planned for his interns to have to spring into action, he was forced to oblige due to the horrific state of the city.
A pro-hero took over for them, Rin putting her sunglasses on top of her head as the two watched Enji get the rundown of the situation from the other heroes.
Rin was in her hero suit; a white romper with a super cropped, white leather jacket. She wore a white skirt with it, knee-high platform boots on that resembled futuristic space shoes.
Rin, with her hands on her waist, turned to ask for orders from Enji until she spotted Shoto staring at his phone screen, the light illuminating his tense expression.
"What's wrong, Todo–"
"Dad! I'm heading off!" Shoto announced, ignoring her. "Send heroes to my location as soon as possible!"
Rin's eyes widened as he began sprinting off, Enji's expression just as astounded as hers.
"Shoto! Where are you going?!" Enji called after him, but he was preoccupied with fighting a nomu.
Rin clicked her tongue, "Endeavour! I'll follow after him!"
"No! Astraea, stay here– oh, for goodness sake!" The Number Two hero let out an exasperated noise as Rin sprinted after his son, deciding to heed Shoto's orders for now and chase after them as soon as he could.
Meanwhile, Rin flipped her sunglasses back on, the stars on the sides of the frames glowing gold as she blasted her body forwards with supernovas. The two bubble braids on top of her head blew out of her face, eyes searching for where Shoto disappeared to.
When she finally caught up with Shoto, she found herself in a dark alleyway where Pro-Hero Native was barely conscious on the floor with Iida was beside him, paralysed. Midoriya was also present, feet frozen to the ground as he trembled before a shadowy villain. Shoto was barely standing, his arm leaking with blood that he clutched weakly.
Before she could even speak, a crimson cape blocked her vision before glowing, vermillion irises appeared in front of her eyes, the whites of the eyes stained with thin, red veins.
"Takahashi!" Midoriya shouted, "get out of here! He controls his opponents' actions by ingesting their blood orally. That's how he got all of us!"
Her heart jumped out of her chest as her left cheek was sliced open before a silvery knife with her blood caught her eyes.
A long, slimy tongue poked out from a row of teeth to lick the scarlet liquid but Rin swiftly opened her palm out to him, diffusing her blood into stardust before returning it back to her skin.
Clenching his teeth, he pounced towards her, only for Rin to blast her body over his, flipping behind him before skidding backwards. She took a good look at the hunched over villain as she caught her breath.
It was the Hero Killer: Stain.
"Ah, you're Icarus' daughter." Stain hissed as he spun his blade between his fingers. "Rin Takahashi, right?"
