¹³ turmoil

"Izuku!" Midoriya smiled cutely up at Rin.

She'd come slightly early to class, Shoto with her as usual. Aizawa hadn't gotten to class yet, so everyone was chattering, mostly about the upcoming exams in a couple of weeks.

Rin sat backwards in Bakugou's chair, leaning her elbows on Midoriya's desk. The explosive male had yet to arrive, so she made herself comfortable.

"Takah– Rin!" He wasn't used to calling her by her first name, but she insisted that he did.

"I have your notes," she sweetly said, opening her satchel and rummaging through it.

"Oh, I finished yours last night!" Midoriya exclaimed, sifting through the stack of notebooks on his desk before pulling out a notebook.

Rin smiled as they exchanged notebooks, the notebook Midoriya passed to her having gold star stickers decorated all over the front while Midoriya's had a scrappily drawn broccoli with an All Might face on the cover.

For exam season, the two had decided to share class notes; making each other notebooks to exchange their notes. They were the most diligent notetakers in class, so it was an even exchange.

"Thanks! I'll give you my notebook back by Friday." Rin said, slipping the notebook into her bag. "How's training going? You think you'll be ready for the practical?"

Midoriya nodded, "it's going okay – when are you free this weekend? I can help you train your quirk if you'd like!"

Ever since Enji had shown her a new way of using her quirk, Rin had been obsessed with learning how to maintain her 'Starform'; the name Midoriya coined for her floating, glowing state. Rin had turned to Midoriya for training given that he learned how to distribute his quirk throughout his entire body and seemed to have decent control over varying degrees of his quirk.

So, the two decided to be training buddies.

"I'm free Saturday–"

"Move, Fireworks!" Bakugou hissed, grabbing her by the collar of her uniform.

Rin pouted as he lifted her off his chair, Midoriya watching worriedly as Bakugou forced her out of his seat. She was about to argue with Bakugou until a voice interrupted her.

"Bakugou, please!"

Rin leaned over, peering past Bakugou to see Kirishima tugging on her friend's arm before he could sit down.

"I'm not studying with you idiots," Bakugou hissed, Rin frowning which made him roll his eyes. "What?"

"Don't be mean," she pouted, Kirishima fake sniffling as he hung an arm over her shoulder. "Eijirou is your friend, you should help him study."

Bakugou shoving past the two to take his seat.

"Why don't you help him study?"

Rin smiled, looking up at Kirishima.

"Why not?" Kirishima sent her a toothy grin before she turned to Midoriya. "Izuku, we should train together on Saturday! We can have a study session with Eijirou too."

Midoriya's eyes brightened as he nodded excitedly.

"Ooh! Can I join?" Kaminari butted in, "I could really use some help."

Rin grinned, "of course you can!"

Before she knew it, Sero, Ashido, Jirou, Uraraka and Yaoyorozu had tagged along.
