Enji, Shoto and Midoriya sat along the engawa looking out to the Todoroki Household's back garden where Rin and Bakugou were sparring. Shoto and Midoriya were munching on ice creams in the warm, spring heat while Enji carefully watched the two explosion quirk users blast around the garden.
As days passed, Bakugou and Rin's fighting styles began to resemble Enji's the more they trained under him. But, although Enji would never admit it, Bakugou had much more precise control over his body and his quirk compared to Enji, while Rin's movements were a lot more fluid and fast than the both of them.
Enji leaned back, observing as Rin crossed her arms over her body as Bakugou blasted an explosion towards her. For the three boys, the white light around her body was almost difficult to even look at for a long period of time, while Enji had grown accustomed to it after seeing her train her white Starform many times.
Enji expected Rin to take apart her body given that Bakugou and his explosions were not lightening up on her arms, yet she only pushed back harder, the two stuck in hand to arm blockage as they fought to overpower the other.
Midoriya sent Enji a worried look, only to see the man unfazed as he watched the push game continue. The green haired boy was always concerned whenever Bakugou and Rin sparred; both were insanely stubborn and had the perpetual urge to win. Oftentimes, one of them ended up passing out or Enji announced the end of the fight before they could blow up his training grounds.
"Alright–!" Enji paused before he could end the match, suddenly blinded by a bright light.
They all looked away as an intense, sapphire light overtook their vision, Shoto being the first to look back before he stumbled onto his feet.
Rin entire body was glowing cerulean instead of white as her limbs trembled against the heat exuding from her skin, her body levitating mid air as crimson and hot pink dust began to circle around her body.
"Shit!" Bakugou swore, diffusing his explosions and stepping back.
Shoto blasted a huge ice structure at Rin, a deafening sizzle erupting the quiet atmosphere before the vivid blue light and dust vanished. They all blinked away the white dots in their vision before they all ogled at her, noticing her figure limply hunched over as her legs were engulfed in ice that solely held up her unconscious figure.
"What the fuck was that?" Shoto asked as Enji ran over, carefully melting the ice before she fell through it, the hero catching her.Enji shook his head, placing his hand on her forehead only to shake his head.
"She has a fever, we'll worry about that stuff later, Shoto." Enji demanded, turning to Midoriya who rigidly stood up, his hand covered in melted ice cream. "Midoriya, go get Fuyumi."
He nodded, scrambling off inside the house.

Enji quietly tended to the leathery, brown red burn on Bakugou's burnt palms, Shoto silently observing as Bakugou flinched while his hand was being cleaned. He'd learned from the scar on his own face to never ice third degree burns, it would only cause much more pain and increase the likelihood of a scar.
Midoriya was nowhere to be seen after he carried Rin into Fuyumi's room, his older sister tending to Rin's fever.
"Did you teach her that?" Shoto broke the heavy silence, glaring at his father. "I thought you were going to protect her."
Enji turned to the first aid kit, grabbing an ointment before gently running the cream on the raw skin of Bakugou's hands.
"I didn't teach her that." Enji hissed. "If anything, I was the one who told her to never use a blue Starform the moment I found out she could make blue stars. She must've lost control while fighting Bakugou."
