supposedly bad things

it's temptating,
another wall with our names engraved in
now I'm just waiting -
you look like gasoline smells
and I started a fire.

I'm dancing on a fine line
somehow still keeping my balance -
while the world is spinning.
and it's not something someone would so easily understand -
it's not even easy to explain...

it's as bittersweet as it gets
we go from nostalgia to dizziness,
drunk outside talking on the cold cement
in what sounds like some type of lovesick accent.

the sun burns me
and the rain it drains me in the best way,
a metaphor -
for all the supposedly bad things.

we're really still here, just like we've been before
and I guess by now it's not a phase anymore

to cope is to come up with new ways,
for whatever it may take.
