pareidolia

you don't wait for me,
so I don't wait for you -
you keep going line after line,
I keep going line after line only in my books;
paperblanks to messy texts at three,
hand carved letters into skins of trees -
I write you cursively in bold
keep you cursed, tight in my hold
and so it goes -
just until you're out of ink for me.

don't know why someone like I
would care for someone like you -
yet I do;
you wait for more lines,
I wait for lines only so I can write -
and I need another pretty rhyme,
though you're just a blur, don't got much tint
which should be
enough of a hint
for me -
actually.

but...
I don't wanna see that I see
that what you've got
is barely action, but just cut -
and you keep your eyes shut
and only open them in the brink of a brief second
one glance - then close,
you're forever in a trance
and so it goes:
day to day to day...
up until another "hey" and "everything okay?"
and then stop - 'cause...

what more is there to say?
