see through

72 15 32

ghostly pale skin, heavy metal on your fingers;
sun through the blinds, glitter cuts with it.
translucent, a daydream, an arch
sinking into fresh white linen.

dark clouds, my clothes, your eyes;
would you dare to think it could last,
if we're meant to expire?
I'm soaked in bleach,
all my sterling silver begins to melt -
we're drained away into dark blue.
