Isaiah POV
When I parked my car outside of my childhood home, I sat there pondering for a moment. Do I go in a waste my time getting lectured by my family or do I drive again and don't go home until later. It's no surprise to my family that I leave home for days at a time.
It scares the living shit out of my mum but after the first time I did it, I was allowed to continue my absences as long as I checked in with my mum to let her know I'm okay and safe. Other than a few messages a day, I don't communicate with anyone in the days I need alone. I feel like going MIA again.
Sighing, I get out of the car ready to face my parents the first time in three days after leaving. It's rare that I'm home anymore. It's not that I don't like it, I just don't like being on pack lands. It makes me feel suffocated with everyone being so friendly to everyone, everyone knows everyone and it's just not for me. Not like my parents and sister. They're more wolf than vampire so they like being here. Me, I'm more vampire than wolf and very much like my solitude and own company.
"Isaiah?" I heard my mum call. Soon emerging from the kitchen as I enter the living room.
"Mum." I mutter and sit down on the sofa. She smiles softly and moves to sit next to me.
"Elodie said she saw you at school? How was your day?" She asks.
"As good as I can be." I reply.
"Isaiah, Elodie tells me there's a girl you've been bullying. Is that true?"
A deep frown forms on my face as I glare at my mum. "Elodie needs to keep her fucking mouth shut. She doesn't know shit."
"Baby you can't scent people without their consent. Isaiah tell me the truth. Elodie said this girl cries in absolute fear because of you." My mum sighs.
"You need to stop treating her like that, Isaiah. Rose fears you." Elodie comes out of the kitchen with a glare on her face. "It's disgusting how you treat my friend. Mum you need to get him to stop."
"Elodie you need to shut your fucking mouth before I shut it for you." I state lowly.
"Isaiah." My mum snaps at me. "Elodie go to your room." My sister glares at me one last time before walking away and going to her room.
"Talk to me. Tell me what's going through that head of yours." My mum looks at me with a soft look in her eyes. The look she always gives her children when she knows we need to talk and it tells us we can trust her.
I shake my head and stand up. I go to walk away by her hand snatches mine and pulls me back to sit down. My mother is much stronger than she looks. "Don't walk away from me. I'm your mum, talk to me."
"There's nothing to talk about. Can I go to my room now?"
"Fine. Dinner will be done soon so don't be sneaking out." She sighs again. Nodding, I stand up once again and leave the living room to go to my bedroom. Of course when I reach the top of the stairs Elodie is stood outside her bedroom door.
"You need to leave Rose alone. I'm serious, Isaiah. Leave her alone." She glares at me.
"I don't listen to you, Elodie. You need to leave me alone and stop telling me what to do. I'm not some child you can dictate to." I growled out.
"Stop bullying Rose. She doesn't like you. She hates you, you scare her. Just leave my friend alone." She starts shouting.
"Shut the Fuck up, Elodie. Just shut up." I shout back. "You don't know anything. You're just a stupid little girl who doesn't know shit and tries to control things to make herself feel better."
"Hey." My dad appears between us, sending a glare towards us both. "That is enough. No more arguing, both of you. You." He points to me. "Go in your room and stay there until you mum says dinners done. Same with you." He looks at Elodie.
"He's bullying Rose." Elodie growls.
"Shut the fuck up before I rip your tongue out."
My dad grips my chin with his hand making me look at him. "You dare touch a hair on her head I'll break your hands. Do not threaten your sister." With that he lets go of me. "Stop aggravating your brother, Elodie. You're both young adults and need to start acting like it. No more causing arguments and certainly no more threats. Am I understood?"
"Yes dad." Elodie sighs in defeat. All I do is glare at him.
"Am I understood, Isaiah." My dad repeats himself. Once again all I did was glare.
"Alec, Elodie just come downstairs and leave Isaiah alone." My mum shows up. "Come on, let him have his time to calm down."
All three of them left to go downstairs and I went into my bedroom. Before I could shut my door I heard my mum say, "And Alec if I ever see you lay a hand on my son like that again, you can go and stay with Marco until I allow you home again. Never will you touch him like that."
I shut my door blocking everyone out. I look around and my anger grows. Soon I'm panting with anger. I start throwing things, breaking things, I break my desk, smash my chair, flip the bed, punch holes in the walls. Cries left my mouth in yells as I wrecked my room, hot angry tears trailed down my cheeks.
"Isaiah." I heard someone call my name. I turn around to see my mum stood there in shock at the state of my room. As soon as I look at her, she jumps over things to get to me. And I break.
I sob in to her chest angry with myself. "I don't know what's wrong with me, mum. Tell me what's wrong with me."
"Nothing baby. There's nothing wrong with you. You're okay, it's okay." She hugged me.
Hope you enjoyed this chapter. Let me know what you think.
