Isaiah POV
Anger fuels me as I see a tear roll down her cheek. She doesn't need to fear me. I don't know why she does. If anyone touches her or so much as looks at her funny I'd happily take their lives if she so much as looks at me in that way. I'd snap their neck in a heartbeat just for her.
"Don't cry." I mutter again watching as more and more tears build up in her eyes. "Tell me, sunshine. Do you like it when I hold you like this?" I raise a brow in question.
All she does is whimper in response. My little sunshine whimpers. I don't want her to whimper in fear because of me, I want her to whimper in pleasure because of me. She shouldn't feel anything but happiness and pleasure but all she seems to do is fear me.
"N-no. I d-don't like it." Rose shakes her head. "Please leave m-me alone."
"You know I can't." I tell her. "Just, just don't tell me that. You know I can't."
"W-why?" She frowns as another tear rolls down her cheek.
"I can't." I growl in annoyance making Rose flinch, my arm instinctively holding her tighter to my chest. Guilt sets in me for making her flinch. "I just can't."
"Please let me go." She whispers in defeat.
"I-," I whisper back. "I want you."
A gasp leaves Roses lips as her head shoots up to look at me. Shock and confusion swarm her beautiful eyes behind the rims of her glasses. Her irises glistening with unshed tears as he looks up at me. My hand comes up to her face to cup her cheek. I can't help but run my thumb over her bottom lip. So plump and soft.
"J-just leave m-me a-alone." She cries out and pulls herself away from my chest. Before I could pull her back to my chest, she sidestepped me and ran. I could get her if I wanted, but I know I wouldn't hear the end of it from Elodie. She always has something to say.
Sighing, I look down and shake my head. Groaning I look up at the ceiling ready to put my head through the wall. I start walking the way Rose went so I can get to class. Now that I'm thinking about it I might just go home, or better yet go somewhere else. Somewhere no one can bother me, somewhere I don't have an annoying little sister pestering me.
Stopping in my tracks, I see Rose stood in the middle of the corridor. Her hand on her chest as she took in deep breaths. Her back to me so she couldn't see me coming. Silently, I walked up behind her, my arms wrapping around her shoulders in hopefully a comforting embrace.
"Shhh, my little sunshine. Breathe." I whisper in her ear. "Deep breaths, that's it." I hold her to my chest as she leans on me. Her hands holding my forearms as I held her close. Slowly, I kneeled to the ground taking Rose with me. Gently I turned her around so we were chest to chest. Her beautiful eyes started up at me, tears filling them and falling down her cheeks.
And just like that, her body fell into my chest as she sobbed, my arms encased her. We kneel in the middle of the corridor while her sobs echo around us, I'm sure everyone in this building can hear her crying. I'm surprised Elodie hasn't come running yet.
"I-I don't like this. I h-hate you." Rose sobs out though coming through muffled from her face being buried in my chest.
"I know, baby." I whisper and hold her tighter.
"Y-you scare m-me, I hate it s-so much."
"I know." I reply. I sense someone close to us and when I look up I'm not surprised to see my sister standing there with her little posse glaring at me. And all I do is glare back not wanting to deal with her shit.
"Leave us alone." I growl deeply. Rose whimpers and her hands fist my T-shirt just as tight as my arms around her.
"Isaiah do you not understand? Does it not process in that thick head of yours that she doesn't like you." Elodie spits out. "What part of leave her alone do you not understand?"
"Go away, Elodie." I mutter.
"Isaiah do you not hear her?" One of her friend shout making Rose jump. My arms instinctively holding her up and close to me to get her away from the threat. "She's scared of you."
Looking down at Rose in my arms, all I see is a fragile girl and all she wants to do is hide away. Gently, I move her so I can slide my arm under her back and legs to stand up. Once I did, Elodie made a move. Her hand gripping my bicep so I couldn't move.
"Put her down." She demands.
"Get your hands off me. Sister or not, the next time you put your hands on me will be the last time you have hands." I glare at her. Elodie takes a step back and removes her hand.
As I walk away I hear the girls start shouting at Elodie. "You can't just let him take her." "Elodie do something about this." "Elodie stop him he'll hurt her." And just like that, I tuned them out and walked out of the school holding the most precious thing in this world.
