Isaiah POV
Rose and I sat in my car eating Burger King. For the last couple days she's been moaning about burgers and I finally caved and got her one. Every five damn minutes all she did was complain that she craved a greasy burger and I couldn't help but get her one. No matter how much she told her mum she wanted something, she'd make Rose the opposite.
"I really needed this." Rose said. "Thank you and please don't tell my mum. You know what she's like when it comes to this."
"It's okay, sunshine." I smiled softly. "Anything you need I honestly have no issue getting it for you."
"Are you done with that?" She asked pointing to my half eaten burger. Her dinner all gone and she eyed mine.
"Uh, yeah. Here." I handed it to her and watched her dive in. A happy smile on her face while she ate.
"Are you okay? You've been eating a lot the last couple days. Are you stressed about something?" I frowned.
Rose's eyes turned angry as she stared back at me. "What are you saying?"
"Nothing, sunshine. Nothing at all. The last couple of days you've had a large appetite and sometimes people stress eat. If it's telling people that we're together that's stressing you, we won't. I don't want this is put a strain on anything."
"You think I'm fat don't you." Rose whispered with a mouth full of burger and tears filling her eyes.
"The fuck, sunshine? No I don't think that." I reassured her. I grabbed the burger from her hand and placed it on the dashboard where our rubbish was and pulled her on to my lap. I placed both my hands on her cheeks making her look at me so she knows I'm sincere.
"I do not think you're fat. Not one bit. I'm just worried about you. If you don't want to tell your friends that's absolutely fine. I don't want you stressing about it. It's not worth it."
"It's not that. I'm just really hungry." Rose shrugged. "I don't know, it's like nothing is good enough. My mums cooking is crap which I can usually tolerate it but the last three days I can't stomach it. I just want to eat every single greasy thing in sight."
"It's okay. We all have them days. I first hand know what it's like to want the good stuff that's bad for us." I smiled. "There's nothing wrong with that and for you I'd buy a hundred burgers if it meant you felt better."
"Really?" Her eyes lit up.
"Really." I nodded. "Come on finish up and we'll go for a walk."
"Okay." She smiled. I grabbed the burger for her and she happily finished it and we got out of the car.
Sniffling woke me up from sleep. Rose stood in my bedroom in her pyjamas with tears soaking her cheeks. Earlier I had dropped her off at home with no problems. She was fine, we were messaging until late and called it a night. So for her to be here now confused the fuck out of me.
"Baby what's wrong?" I asked sitting up and opening my arms to her. Rose didn't hesitate to climb on to the bed and cuddled in to my side. "Talk to me. What's happened."
"I just missed you." Rose sniffled. "I wanted a cuddle as well but you weren't answering your phone which really upset me so I came here. Your dad let me in."
"Christ, sunshine. I'm sorry." I sighed. I rubbed her back and tightened my arms around her.
"It's okay." She said. "I don't even know what's wrong with me. I should be at home asleep but I can't. I'm so used to your arms around me that I just couldn't fall asleep and then I started crying out of nowhere and because you didn't answer me I came here in the middle of the night."
"It'll be alright. I've got you now. At least it's Saturday tomorrow so we can stay here all day, right in this bed doing nothing but cuddling." I promised her. "I'll go out and get some snacks as well."
"Crispy m&ms?" Rose looked up at me.
"As many bags as your heart desires." My answer made her smile and snuggle her face in to my chest.
"Is there anything I can do right now?" I asked her.
"Just hold me." She answered.
"I can do that, sunshine." I smiled and laid us down. "Get some sleep, baby. I'll be right here when you wake up."
"Promise."
"I promise." I said and kissed her head. This girl honestly melts my heart.
"Sunshine, wakey wakey." I said softly as I nudged her. Her eyes fluttered open showing me her beautiful green specks. My favourite colour. She smiled and sat up rubbing her eyes. I grabbed her glasses from my bedside table and held them out to her which she whispered her thanks and took them.
"Good morning." She muttered.
"Morning, baby. How are you feeling this morning?"
"I'm okay. Happy now that I'm with you."
"Good. I hate seeing you like that."
"I'm sorry. It won't happen again."
"Baby you can do that every night for the rest of our lives and I really wouldn't care. Your well-being is important to me and if it means coming to me when you're upset I don't mind. I'd rather you come to me then stay on your own." I reassured her.
Rose smiled a little and nodded. "I've got crispy m&ms." The look on her face is all worth it. I climbed back in to bed and let her have the bag. Being the amazing boyfriend I am I got her three bags just in case and I will happily leave again to get her more if that's what her heart desires.
"Thank you." She moaned when she slipped a handful in her mouth. "I'm happier now." I chuckled a little and pulled her to my side.
"What should we watch first?" I asked her. "Anything in particular?"
"Hmm." She nodded. "Let's binge watch the pitch perfect films."
"Alright baby." I smiled and put on the first one.
Half way through the movie, Rose had fallen asleep which made me frown seeing as she'd only been awake for forty-five minutes. I'll make sure she goes to the doctors soon to make sure she doesn't have low iron.
Hope you're enjoying. Please let me know what you think.
