Rose POV

Anxiety filled me as I walked through the corridor listening to everyone talk. The things people say like they have no life. Why is my relationship with Isaiah such a big deal? What's it got to do with anyone anyway? My dads on board with it so why does anyone else's opinion matter. As long as Isaiah and I have each other, I don't care.

After looking for Isaiah for about five minutes, someone walked up to me. I frowned not liking it because only Isaiah does that, it's only Isaiah. Whenever I bump in to anyone else it's like my skin burns and I have to move away. It's different with my parents, Isaiah's, Elodie, Yasmine and Gio, I'm fine with them but anyone else, it's like they're scorching me.

"Sorry." I mutter and look up. Dominic looked down at me with this look in his eyes.

"No need to be sorry." He gave what looked like a smile trying to be nice but made me cringe. "Just wanted to talk to you."

"I can't. I'm looking for someone." I replied and tried to move around him. Only he grabbed my arm to stop me. "Don't touch me." I growled ripping my arm from his grip and putting a protective arm around my belly.

"Look, I'm sorry. I just want want to talk to you. Five minutes, that's all I ask." Dominic said.

"No, I'm looking for someone." I said again ready to walk away again. Except he grabbed my shoulders and pushed me against the wall.

"Listen okay." He growled.

"Get the hell off me." I said and tried pushing him away.

"You need to leave him, being with that creep will bring you nothing but pain and trouble so do yourself a favour and end it. No one needs to be hurt by that freak."

"What I do is none of your business, Dominic. We're not even friends so why are you so concerned?" I glared at him.

"His dad killed my aunt, he beat me up for no reason. My parents were so close to getting him exiled but apparently alpha wouldn't because he had a good enough reason to do it. If his dad can do that and he can do that what makes you think he won't hurt you?"

"Obviously there's reasons as to why they did what they did." I snapped.

"No, there wasn't." Dominic growled deeply.

I flinched at his growl only to hear another and Dominic is ripped off me. "Get the Fuck away from my mate and pup." Isaiah growled, his more deep and murderous sounding than anyone's I've heard before. Isaiah pushed Dominic down and hovered over him.

"You ever lay a hand on her again, I will rip your goddamn throat out." He spat out.

"Get your hands off me." Dominic glared and pushed Isaiah's hands off him. "Bit hard not to touch her when she came on to me."

"What?" I shouted.

All Isaiah did was stand there and give him a murderous glare. After a few seconds Isaiah let out another deep growl before turning and walking away. Dominic stood up and glared a hole in to Isaiah's back.

"The fuck do you mean pup?" Dominic shouted after him. "Did he force himself on you? Do you need help from this freak?"

Isaiah stalked back and once again pushed Dominic. "Unlike some I actually ask before I touch someone. Unlike some I have absolute respect for women. You don't even have the audacity to talk to them the right way. So please enlighten me on why you're better than me?"

"I'm better because I don't go around beating people up for no reason. I'm better because I can take care of my woman than just walking away from her. Rose deserves better."

"Yes she does. But that better will never be you. No one deserves you though, you are disgusting and anyone who is you mate should reject you. They'd be better off with that pain than the pain you'd cause them."

"I have no idea what you're going on about. You're fucking delusional." Dominic smiled and laughed humourlessly.

"Don't make me put you in the hospital again. Actually, do us a favour and make me, maybe then this time I'll put you in the ground." Isaiah said.

"Like father like son, huh? Both of you kill for no reason, bully people for nothing all because you think you can. Because you think no one can beat you." Dominic shook his head.

"There's someone I'm sure. It's not you, it never will be you. Stay the fuck away from Rose, and more importantly stay the fuck away from my sister. If you so much as breath the same air as her I will kill you."

"Please do. Then you'll be exiled and this pack will be free of you."

"No, Dominic, they'll be free of you." Isaiah stated and turned to walk away. He took my hand gently and looked down at me. His eyes holding something, almost as if he was questioning me if I'd go with him. Like hell I'd stay anywhere near Dominic over Isaiah. With that we both walked away.

"He'll only hurt you Rose. Remember what he did to me?" Dominic shouted. "He'll do worse to you. You can't protect yourself. You'll regret being with him."

After that we didn't stay in school. We ended up going to Isaiah's house, his parents weren't there so all we did was lay in bed. All I want to do is ask about what happened. For ages I been aching to know why Isaiah beat up Dominic, clearly it was for good reason. But it's a reason I want to know.

"Why did you do it?" I finally managed to get myself to ask. "Why did you beat Dominic up?"

"I don't want to talk about it." Isaiah mumbled. "We need to think of a name for the baby." He changed the subject. I sighed and sat up looking down at him.

"Did he hurt someone? Someone close to you?" I frowned.

"Please, sunshine. I don't want to talk about it." Isaiah said. His voice coming on a little strong. "It caused a lot of shit in my family, okay. I don't want to bring it up more than necessary."

"Okay." I replied and let it go. He pulled me back down to the bed and hovered over me. His hands lacing with mine over my head while he nudged the tip of his nose with mine.
"You know it's this that's what got us in to this situation."

"What's our situation?" Isaiah murmured while pressing featherlight kisses around my cheek and neck.

"You being on top of me. Getting me in the mood. Then boom, a baby." I laughed.

"Yep." Isaiah nodded still kissing my neck. His teeth grazed my skin sending a shiver down my spine and slick pooling between my legs.
