Isaiah POV
Rose and I sat in my car in the schools car park. Her hands shook slightly as she watched people walk past staring at my car. Right now I'm glad I made the decision to get the windows tinted. This morning Rose wanted me to pick her up so we could walk in to school together, but looking at her now and being sat here for ten minutes I think she's rethinking the whole thing.
"We don't have to do this if you don't want to. There's no rush." I reassured her.
"I want to, we're starting a family. We're sure about us, we're sure about this baby. I'm sure I want to do this. I'm just worried what shit it will cause between us, with Elodie, with people in general." She sighed.
"I don't care what people think. Elodie will get over it. And as for the others it's none of their business. I know that I love you and you love me just as much."
"I do, I love you. I'm just worried what some people would do. What if someone doesn't agree with this and tries to hurt me or the baby, even more so you. I don't want anyone to hurt you." She told me.
"No one will ever hurt me. Even if they did it wouldn't be one of these pricks in this school. And no one will harm you or our baby, I'd die before I let that happen, okay. Please don't worry your little head about it, sunshine. And I doubt anyone is going to know until you start showing if you don't tell them." I reassured her.
"Yeah that's true." She smiled a little. "Come on, let's do this. At least now everyone can stop looking at you. They now know you're mine."
"As long as you know it I don't care about anyone else." With that, we got out of the car and as soon as we were next to each other again, Rose immediately took my hand.
So many people around watched as we walked through the car park, towards the school. Rose held a tight grip but I can't complain, she's next to me holding my hand and no one else's. And for as long as I can I will make sure it stays this way. And if things go good she'll be my mate.
The whispers started before we even reached the building. People in the car park already speaking about it, I'm sure I saw someone lift their phone taking a picture of us. If I had known this was what it would be like I wouldn't have done this. I don't want Rose stressing, it's not good for the baby, more so it's not good for her.
I couldn't help but glare at people as they whispered and pointed at us. Rose squeezed my hand a couple of times making me look down at her, my face softening when I do. She gave me a sweet smile putting me at ease a little. Yet being able to hear most things, it didn't help much.
"At least now when I need you at school we don't have to run off anywhere. I can have you right then and there." Rose said.
"Yeah." I nodded. "Not sure how people will take it though. I'm sure there will be many objections."
"I don't give a fuck what people think. As long as I have you by my side that's all that matters. I'll go all mama wolf on them." She smiled.
"I can't wait to see it." I paused and pulled her to my chest. Her hands landing on my chest while mine went to her waist. "Seeing you swollen and beautiful. My little spawn in there wreaking havoc." I chuckled.
"I'd love every bit of it." Rose stated. "Especially the mighty powerful kicks."
"If it's anything like me then it will be. My mum always said I was the worst one out of Elodie and I. I was a bit of a chunk so it took its toll on her body. If it ever gets too much, promise to tell me. At any time, now or even when you're about to drop. I don't want your body straining, you need to be healthy as well."
"I will, I promise. But it won't, not yet. It'll most likely be the last few weeks." She smiled a little.
"Yeah." I nodded. "Come on, I'll walk you to class."
When the bell rang for lunch I shot straight up from my chair and practically ran out of the classroom. All day I've heard all the whispers about Rose and I. The looks and frowns while they talk, I've had to bite my tongue knowing it would only effect Rose if I said anything.
Even now as I walk through the corridors to find Rose they talk. 'How can she be with such a person?' 'Is she not scared he'd drink her blood? He is half vampire after all.' 'They're not even mates and they're like this. It's disgusting, shouldn't they have waited?' 'I'm sure her parents are ecstatic about their relationship considering he's a bully. Don't forget what he did to Dominic.'
It's funny how they talk like I can't hear them. It's either they don't care or they're trying to be quiet and failing miserably. Whatever it is I don't care. As long as it doesn't effect Rose and my child I'll keep my mouth shut. I refuse to be the one to cause her stress when I should be the one keeping her happy and relaxed, not stressed.
As I round the corner, what I see fills me with anger. My hands balling in a fist as I shake. I see Dominic with Rose against a wall. Anger fills me like never before.
