Rose POV

Five days had passed and I was freaking out. Never have I gone this long without seeing Isaiah around. Each night I had left my bedroom window open hoping I'd wake up and find traces of him there, but I never did. It's like he had just vanished. Elodie hasn't said anything about it, and I want to ask about him but I know I can't.

Two or three days at most, but never more than that. I'm not sure why but worry is filling every inch of me. While at school everyone was calm, happy even. I know why. It's because Isaiah isn't here for everyone to be on edge. Yet I was filled with more worry than I ever have in my entire life. The way he left wasn't good at all. It's almost like he was a completely different person.

"Haven't seen your brother in a while. Where is he?" Sasha asked but the look in her eye I knew she wasn't interested at all.

"I don't know." Elodie shrugs. "Isaiah usually leaves for a couple days at a time. He's not really a pack person."

"You'll know where he is, Rose. Considering he's obsessed with you. Not sure why though." She rolled her eyes.

"No actually, I don't. And he's not obsessed with me." I replied.

"Sure. It's not like he doesn't come up to you every day and scents you like you're his. You don't even know if you're mates and yet he covers you in his scent almost as if he's marking you. So surely you should have some idea."

"For someone who calls him psychopath and thinks he's dangerous you're sure invested on his whereabouts. Are you obsessed with, Isaiah, Sasha?" Elodie mocked her. "Because from where I'm sitting it sure looks like you're jealous about my brother being more interested in Rose than you."

"So what?" Sasha shrugged. "He's easy on the eyes and possessive. Who wouldn't be attracted to that. I'm sure every girl in this school finds him attractive. Well every girl except you, Elodie. Or are you a weirdo like him and find your own brother attractive?"

"Don't be disgusting, Sasha." Yasmine said. "No one finds their brother attractive."

"You do." She snarled.

"Gio isn't my brother." Yasmine glared at her. "And I don't find him attractive."

I rolled my eyes. Why is Sasha being like this? More so, why is she targeting Elodie and Yasmine, they've done nothing wrong. I mean, even if they have surely it shouldn't call for this behaviour, not unless they've done something really bad to Sasha, which I really doubt because they are the nicest people I know.

I can't say the same for Sasha, Piper and Dani. They can be mean and rude, but if someone calls them out for something they've done the target that person and become horrible. Just like Sasha has done to Yasmine.

"Whatever you say, Yasmine. I'm sure you haven't slept with him." Dani smirked.

"I-I haven't." Yasmine shook her head. "I never would."

"Stop being mean, guys. Yasmine hasn't done anything wrong. Why are you being like this?" I frowned.

"We're not being mean, Rose. We're just saying that it's really weird that Yasmine and Elodie find their brothers attractive." Piper stated.

"But they don't. Do you not get that? How would you feel if we were saying that to you guys? You wouldn't like it at all. Just leave them alone." I told them.

"Come on, we don't have to deal with this." Elodie stood up.

"You can stay here. Elodie doesn't speak for you." Sasha spat out.

"We don't want to be around people say false things." Yasmine glares at them before getting up and standing with Elodie. I stood up as well grabbing my bag because I for one don't want to be around them anymore.

"If you leave you won't be friends with us anymore. We can bring you down so quickly." Sasha threatened.

"We'd rather be on our own than be with people like you." Elodie sneered and turned to leave. Sasha saying something as we walk away but none of us caring what she said.

After deciding to skip the rest of the day at school, we decided to go to Elodie's house. Once we walk in, we hear someone crying.

"Mum please tell me he's with you. Even if he doesn't want me to know, just tell me he's there." The answer must not of been what she wanted to hear as he cries even more.

"I'm so scared. C-can you call uncle Ryker and Dustin? Literally anyone to see if he's with them. Please, I need to know he's okay." I'm now guessing it's Elodie's mum who's crying and it's Isaiah she's worried about.

"Mum." Elodie called as she quickly made her way through the house. Yasmine and I following her to the living room where we find her mum on the sofa with her head in her hands.

Elodie didn't hesitate to drop her bag and hug her mum. "What's wrong?"

"Isaiah hasn't come home." Her mum sobbed. "He's never been gone this long and I don't know what to do. I'm so worried somethings happened to him."

"Nothing has. Isaiah is a force to be reckoned with. Nothing and no one can hurt Isaiah." Elodie tried to reassure her mum.

"But what if someone's hurt my baby boy. What if he wasn't strong enough to protect himself?" She cried.

"Mum." Elodie whispered, broken. I know I'd cry if I saw my mum like this. Both my parents mean the world to me.

"Judith?" A man called out as he ran through the house. He went up to Elodie and her mum and pulled them to his arms. "It'll be okay, little one. He'll be okay."

"I need him to come home. I just need to know he's safe." Judith said.

"He is. I just know it. Isaiah will be home soon." The man stated.

"He's never been gone this long. I don't understand why he left anyway. Everything was good. He was good. I don't know what happened."

"Oh, no." Elodie whispered. Realisation filling her eyes. She covered her face with her hands as she cried. "Before he left I told him to leave. I told him that I was embarrassed to be his sister and that he should leave to make things better. That us as a family and the pack would be better of without him because he's a burden." She confessed.

That's why he was so upset. He was so angry and it's because of that. It's all because Elodie told him he's a burden. He must feel horrible. I wouldn't imagine Elodie would say that to him, never. I know their relationship is rocky but I never thought such harsh words would come from Elodie.

"You said that to your brother?" Her dad frowned.

"I didn't think he'd leave. He never had before. I was so angry at him. He wouldn't leave Rose alone and he hurts people, everyone in this pack looks at us so differently all because of him. The boys at school, he beats them up. Rose, he humiliates and manhandles Rose almost every day at school. Did you know he scents her? He could be banished from the pack if her parents found out and decided he wasn't safe for her to be around."

"That doesn't give you the right to tell him that." Her mum shouts. "You know what Isaiah is like, you know how he is. How dare you say any of that to him? Do you know what you've done? I've lost my son because of you."

"Mum I didn't mean any of it. I was angry." Elodie whispered.

"I'm angry right now and I am keeping so much in. I'm not blurting out what I really want to say to you, Elodie. I love you so much, but right now I really don't like you." Judith sobbed.
