Rose POV

"I'm really sorry about Isaiah. I keep telling him to leave you alone but he won't. I'm trying to get him to stop." Elodie looks at me with a look of sympathy.

"It's okay." I whisper and give her a small smile.

"No it's not, Rose. It's far from okay. Isaiah is just," she sighs. "Isaiah just doesn't understand why he does what he does. I'm not making any excuses for him because what he's doing to you is not okay. He's scenting you all the time and that's against werewolf law if you're not mates. He should've been kicked out of school by now. Isaiah isn't all there, I don't know how to explain it. Just be careful around him, okay."

"Okay." I nod.

"Good. Now why don't we gather up the girls and have a sleepover? We can do it anywhere." Elodie smiles widely.

"Yeah. Sounds great." I nod.

"Yay! Come on." Elodie grabs my hand and drags me to find the other girls in our friend group. Of course there's me, Elodie, Sasha, Piper, Yasmine and Dani. They've all been friends for years but they let me join their group after I moved here. My mum was originally from this pack but moved to my dads to be with him, two years ago they agreed to move here.

Once we found them, Elodie and I sat down getting greetings from all of them. "Rose and I think it'll be a good idea to have a sleepover? You girls down?" Elodie asks them.

"Sounds good."

"I'm down." The various voices reply happily. These girls are always down to have a sleepover together. We mainly do pampers and gossip. Well them more so than me.

"Sounds great. But we can't have it at my house. My parents have had enough of it always being there." Yasmine stated.

"Parents are away for the week so my house is out of the question. They don't want anyone there without them." Dani added.

"Sasha?" Elodie asked.

"Would love to but with the new baby and everything dad and pop don't want anyone there. Dad had a rough delivery and is still recovering." She said.

"Rose?" Elodie looks at me.

"My house I-isn't big enough. S-sorry." I smile sadly. It's only me, my mum and dad so our house isn't as big as anyone else's in the pack. And that it was generally all that my parents wanted, something small and simple.

"Why don't we do it at your house?" Piper asks Elodie.

"I would but what about Isaiah? He'll be there."

"That's okay." They all shrugged.

"We don't mind the view." Dani adds.

"Don't even go there. And he won't be interested in you guys, he likes Rose. Like some creepy stalker type shit and I don't want anything to happen to her. Is there literally no where else we could go?" Elodie sighs.

The girls shake their head in response. I mean, Isaiah does creep me out a bit, and he scares me. I don't think being in the same place as him outside of school is a good idea at all, but I would love to have a sleepover with the girls. It's always fun and we have the time of our lives.

Doing it at Elodie's house just means Isaiah will be able to get to me. I always stay home after school so I don't have any chance of running into him so he has the chance to hurt me. I know Elodie wouldn't let that happen, she's a hybrid for gods sake but so is Isaiah, but I know he can overpower anyone and anything if it came to it. There's only so much people can do. I just feel really scared and uncomfortable whenever he's near.

"Rose?" Piper waves her hand in front of my face. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah." I nod. "I'm okay."

"Are you okay to have the sleepover at Elodie's. There's literally no where else to go. Are you okay with that?" She asks.

"Uhm." I hesitate. "I-I don't know."

"It's okay. Well do it another time." Elodie gives me a sad smile. "It's bad enough you have to deal with Isaiah at school, you shouldn't have to deal with him outside of here."

I look down at my lap feeling guilty about ruining it for the others. Why is it always me ruining things? The guilt eats away at me as I think about it. They now can't have a girls night because of me. That's no fair on them.

"It's okay. I don't mind being there." I reassure her as best I can. These girls are amazing and shouldn't have to miss out because of me.

"Are you sure? I'll ask my dad to see if he can keep Isaiah out of the house. How does Saturday sound?" Elodie asks.

No one raises and objections and that's that. The bell rings signalling the start of another lesson. I'm the only one that doesn't have a lesson with someone so we all go our separate ways. I keep my head down trying to hide myself to avoid a certain someone. Just the thought of him makes me uncomfortable.

Usually I know when he's close because I can smell the rancid scent of nicotine that he smokes. It fills the halls but no one dares to say anything. His father is one of the strongest wolves in this pack, not to mention he's always a hybrid same with his mother. And I'm sure Isaiah is very much stronger than everyone.

His muscles rip through the cotton of his T-shirt, his thick thighs strain against his jeans just proving how strong Isaiah is. I don't think the man has a weakness, a downfall to prove otherwise. It's like he's the almighty himself just in black and a leather jacket.

Just as I turn the corner where my class is, my chest bumps in to another. The familiar arm wraps around my waist same with the scent that invades my senses. Isaiah's coldness radiates to me as he holds me close to his chest.

"Hello, sunshine." He muttered lowly.

My heart races in my chest as my eyes water. Through my T-shirt I could feel his thumb slightly rubbing back and forth. My lip slightly wobbles fearing that he's going to hurt me. No one would dare to tell him to leave me alone but Elodie. Not even the teachers tell him anything. Everyone fears him.

His free hand comes up to cup my cheek like it always does. And every time it makes me flinch more than the day before. As he guides my face to look at him, a tear slips from the corner of my eye trailing down my cheek. Isaiah's eyes darken as he watches the tear fall, the muscle in his jaw ticks making my heart beat faster scared of him. He's unpredictable.

His thumb runs across my cheek wiping the tear away. "Don't cry." He mutters deeply.

"I-I'm s-sorry." I whisper, my voice breaking making me want to cry even more.
