Isaiah POV

Why can't they just understand me? Why can't they just leave me alone to be with her? The only time I am content is when she's with me. No one else makes me feel the way Rose does. They just need to know that but I can't tell them. I don't know how to.

"Isaiah, listen to me." My dad gave me a look of sympathy. I don't want that, none of it. "It's time for the both of you to go home. Your mum is worried about you and Rose's parents with her."

"We're not ready to leave. Not yet." I shake my head and take a step back. I turn around only to see my mum and Elodie stood there making me stop once again.

"Put her down, baby. Elodie will take her home and make sure she's safe." My mum reassures me.

"I don't want to." I whisper clutching Rose to my chest.

"Please Isaiah. I want to go home." Rose whimpers out.

"You can't, not just yet." I reply tightening my arms around her.

My mum walked up to me and placed a hand on my arm. Her eyes soft and pleading. "It's time to let Rose go home now. You'll see her tomorrow, I promise. Come on, put her down." My mum pried my arms off of Rose.

Tears built up in my eyes with the lump forming in my throat. I gently put Rose on her feet and Elodie ran up to us and lead her away. As I watched them walk away, anger fills me now not having my alone time with Rose anymore.

It wasn't until they were out of sight that I put my head down. "She'll be okay, baby. I promise."

"She was okay with me." I glare at my mum. "She was okay with me." I shout.

"Isaiah do you know how long we've been looking for you? Hours, Elodie was worried, we were worried. Rose's parents were losing their minds because of this." My dad stands next to my mum.

"I understand it all, Isaiah. And it's okay, but when Rose needs to go home, she needs to go. It's not fair to keep her away from her family, is it?" My mum asks.

I stay silent as I looked at her. For a few minutes I couldn't say anything. "I just want her." I whisper.

"I know, baby." My mum pulls me to her and wraps me in a hug. "It'll be okay. Come on, let's get you home."

It didn't take us long to get home. Of course when we got there Elodie had a lot of say. She always has something to say when it comes to Rose. Even when it doesn't Elodie must always put her word in.

"You're such a psychopath, Isaiah. Why did you think it was a good idea to take her like that? What the fuck is wrong with you? Are you not mentally all there, do you not realise what you've done." Elodie shouts at me as soon as I walk through the door.

"That's enough, Elodie." My dad tells her sternly.

"Is it, though? He could've killed her today. Taking her into the woods like that is not okay. What if we never found them? What if we did and she was laying in a pool of her own blood because he fed on her." She yelled.

I ran up to her and slammed her to the floor by her throat. Her face turning red from impact and her air supply slowly being cut off.

"I don't hurt her." I growled out lowly.

"Yes you do." Elodie barely managed to get out. "Every day you hurt her by being there. Just the mention of your name has her shaking like a leaf. But your too stupid to understand that you hurt her, she fears you, Isaiah. Just leave her alone."

"You don't get it." I shout in her face. "No one gets it. You should just leave us alone. Leave me alone."

"Isaiah leave your sister." My dad growls in demand. I let go of her and stand up. I walk out of the living room and up to my bedroom, slamming my door behind me. All I want to do is wreck my room again. To smash something. To hurt someone.

I need Rose. Locking my door, I open the window and jump out. Not looking back, I make my way around the territory looking for Rose's home. I could find her scent even if we were in a crowd full of many scents, I know hers would stand out and just like now, I can smell her intoxicating scent in the mix of thousands. With that, I pin point it and follow it to wherever it leads me, I just know she'll be there wherever it leads.

It didn't take me long to find her house, a little ways from the other houses but not too far. Enough for privacy and comfort but close enough to the rest of the pack incase of an emergency. Carefully, I walk around the house so no one would suspect me to be around.

The house thankfully was a condo so I was able to go around the house to find Rose. I got to a window where her scent was most strongest and looked through the windows. I saw her sat on her bed freshly showered in her pyjamas reading a book. No one else in sight. I couldn't help but stare at her as she read her book, my heart beginning to beat hard in my chest. The thumps filling the silence around me.

It must of been that loud that Rose looked up from her book and saw me standing there. Her lips parted and I know a gasp left her lips. She put her book down and came over to the window and opened it enough so I could be face to face with her.

"What are you doing here?" Rose whispers. "Don't be too loud, my parents will hear."

"I wasn't ready to leave." I reply to her. "I wasn't, I," I stuttered out.

"Isaiah." She sighed. "You can't be here."

"I don't care. I want to be with you." I whisper out. "Can I come in? Please?"

"You can't, Isaiah. If my parents find out you're here they'll kill you. They got scared you took me out to the woods today to kill me." Rose sighed again.

"No body will every hurt you. Not even me. I'll make sure of it." I reassured her, at least I hope it reassured her. "Can I come in?"

"You shouldn't."

"Please, sunshine. Just for a little while." I looked up pleading her to let me in.

"Isaiah." She shook her head. "Half an hour. That's all then you need to leave." I nodded my head quickly and climbed through her window when she stepped back.

Looking around, it wasn't what I thought her room would be. Cream walls with butterflies dotted around. I didn't look around much because Rose took my attention again by sitting on her bed. I walked over and joined her only to find her bed incredibly comfortable.

"Can I lay with you?"
