Cindy Moon, otherwise known as the hero, Silk, is trained and mentored by Batman alongside Robin. Soon, Silk, Aqualad, Kid Flash, and Robin form a small team.

"Aquaman has all of Atlantis on the case. He said they're quote-unquote 'searching the seven seas' for Lagoon Boy and his captors. But it's a big planet and that's a lot of water," Mal speaks, staring at the holographic Earth projection with Superboy.
"We'll find La'gaan," Superboy states.
"And Aqualad," Mal mentions, causing Nightwing and Silk to glance at each other momentarily.
"I want his fish head on a platter for what he did to Artemis," Mal says, narrowing his eyes at the ground, irately raising his fist. Superboy lets out a sigh.
Nightwing and Silk decide to leave the room, leaving Superboy and Mal alone. Silk quickly gives Nightwing a peck on the lips, heading toward the showers to get ready for Raquel's bridal shower. Nightwing smiles at her as she walks away, leaving Mount Justice.

M'gann, Zatanna, and Cindy walk together toward the bridal shower Raquel is hosting.
"It's Conner's birthday today. He's never had a birthday when I haven't thrown him a party," M'gann tells us worriedly.
"That's not exactly your job anymore, M'gann," Cindy mentions.
"And with Kaldur holding La'gaan captive, I can't focus on parties," the Martian replies, as the three women enter the party.
"Megan, Cindy, and Zatanna are here," Karen exclaims happily.
"Hi! Oh, I'm so glad you could make it, you guys," Raquel says with a grin.
"Happy bridal shower, Raquel," M'gann tells the joyful woman, handing her a present. Zatanna also handed her Cindy's and her present for Raquel.
Zatanna hugs Raquel, and Cindy does as well shortly after.
"M'gann, Cindy, Zatanna, ah, you shouldn't have," the woman says with delight, starting to pull out the tissue paper from inside the bag.
"The gift is from Artemis too. We bought it together," M'gann clarifies with a frown, all of the women sadly glancing at the empty seat which was supposed to be Artemis'.
"What am I doing, having this shower? How-how can we celebrate so soon after---"
"Because Artemis would want us to celebrate," M'gann chimes in.
"She'd kick our butts if we didn't," Zatanna adds.
Raquel glances at her drink, picking it up to make a toast for Artemis, causing Cindy to feel incredibly guilty, knowing the blonde is still alive, working with Aqualad.
"To absent friends," Raquel declares.
"To absent friends," the rest of the women mimic Raquel.
"And to the bride!" Cindy announces with a grin, pushing her guilt down.
"To the bride," the women all chorus, standing from their seats, drinks in hand.
Perched on the edge of a nearby building, Captain Cold uses his binoculars to look at the bank, planning to steal some money from it. He grins, laughing evilly. An armored car drives near the bridal shower where all the women chat happily together. The vehicle stops in front of the bank. An officer exits the vehicle, opening one of the back doors, causing Captain Cold to grin menacingly. Then, the evildoer uses his cold gun on the vehicle, completely encasing it in ice, causing the cops to yell fearfully.
The women at the bridal shower nearby gasped in shock, widening their eyes at the sight of the ice. Luckily for them, Rocket uses her force bubble that had prevented the women from being frozen. Captain Cold chuckles to himself, throwing away his weapon and sliding down the ice. He jogs toward the money, grinning sinisterly, pulling a tiny, metal hammer out of his pocket, about to break the ice.
Suddenly, startling him, Zatanna chants a backward spell, causing the heroines at the bridal shower to change into their superheroine outfits. Zatanna also chants another spell that breaks the ice around them. The eight superheroines stand in front of a shocked Captain Cold, causing him to drop his hammer fearfully.
"I'm completely doomed, aren't I?" He questions worriedly.
"One hundred percent," Rocket answers with a grin, and the other women charge at the villain, causing him to let out a terrified yelp, and the women knock out the villain, cold.
After sending Captain Cold to Belle Reve, the women enjoy the remainder of Raquel's bridal shower. Cindy couldn't help but still feel guilty for being a part of the plan that involved Artemis being undercover with Aqualad, but she covered it up with fake smiles throughout the day.
