"I was wrong to think that Ivory would just always be the way he is."

The more I am with him, the more I get to know there's more beyond his cold demeanor.

And I want to unravel about him one by one... good and bad ones.

The days became normal again... and that means I went back to being busy again. I am loaded with a lot of responsibilities that I've neglected for the whole week.

But I was at Isha's place today since she's sulking about me not coming to her... so I surprised her. I know that she doesn't have work today, so I took the opportunity. And now that we're done talking about her, it's about mine now.

"Right?! I told you! It's been months pa lang na kasal kayo pero may progress na." Isha agreed with me. She looks even more excited than me.

I frowned. "Why are you so happy?"

"Kasi may love life ka na! You're not just too focused on your career and passion. At nakikita kong sumasaya ka na... yung totoo talaga."

I avoided her gaze. I noticed some changes in me when Ivory started to get nice to me, even though I knew it was just our deal to work out our marriage of convenience.

"Whatever," I just muttered because I didn't want to admit anything.

I only like Ivory. Nothing more and nothing less.

Isha just chuckled when she already knew how I diverted that topic.

"Anyway, Ivory's birthday is so close. Do you know anything about what gift I can give to him?"

Isha looked flatly at me. "Edi, birthday sex! Ano pa ba?"

Even without drinking or eating anything, I suddenly coughed. Isha laughed. I fix my seat even though I am just doing fine on it. I also cleared my throat.

"I'm serious."

"I'm serious too. I swear. Birthday sex is the best gift ever. Explore sex on his birthday... not just plain, you know," she even suggested.

Isha rolled her eyes at me when I rolled my eyes at her first.

"Duh! Huwag na mag-inarte, 'te! Mag-asawa naman na kayo. Since virgin ka pa, you really are missing out! My gosh! You really must try it... you'll get addicted to it, especially when you're doing it with the person you like or love."

"How?"

"Like do some roleplay? Do some unusual positions while having sex? You can even have toys while doing it. Or you can dominate him if he would allow you? Sobrang dami, Maeve! My gosh... your age will be out of the calendar and you haven't even explored the most beautiful activity to do in the world!"

I just shot my brow at her. "You look like you couldn't live without sex."

"Of course!" she quickly responded. "But even though I look like I couldn't live with it, pero choosy naman ako sa kung sino sini-sex ko, okay? Nag-iingat din dahil mahirap na."

I just shook my head at her.

But she somehow convinced me. I think I have an idea now.

Isha pointed at me when she saw my subtle, sly smile.

"I know that smile..."

My smile fell. I frowned at her. "It's your fault. You always give me such unusual ideas."
