"I thought you said it's an M," she said when I gave her the key of the Cadillac.

I smirked. "I'm pulling your leg."

She rolled her eyes.

One day I should be able to do something about that. Maybe I'll spank her, beautifully.

Sometimes I wonder why men hated the rolling of eyes from their women.

Now I know, we only want to see it when the woman was in the brink of passion.

With Gem when she couldn't control the pool of ecstasy from her midbody.

I opened the door for her.

She got in.

I went to the passenger side and sat beside her. She was finding something.

"Missing?" I asked.

She glanced my way. "How do you use this key?" she showed me the square gold-plated... key... I didn't know what to call it.

"You press it."

"Oh, no keyhole?"

I shook my head slowly.

So, she pressed the middle and the car started.

"Whoa!" she exclaimed, amazed. She looked at me.

I was amused by the glitter from her eyes.

The sparkle in her eyes was not for the car but for what it does. More on wonderment.

"Impressed?" I asked again as she maneuvered the car smoothly out of the parking lot.

"Very much!" she exclaimed with enthusiasm. "Is this why you let the company driver and Aaron go? You want to impress me?"

I shook my head laughing a little. "No. Well, maybe a little. But I knew that it would take a while. I need to shower, and I want to eat a decent meal."

"We could take you out to eat."

"Nah, I'm good, and comfortable eating at home."

"The lamb steak is good."

"I'm glad you like it."

"Pero sana next time, hindi na gano'n kamahal. I mean..." She switched lanes.

I didn't wait for her to finish her sentence. "You are eating with me."

"Na-doble pa 'yong gastos mo. Dapat sa'yo nalang."
