Chapter 10 : Meet The StrawHats!

You couldn't help but get excited as you heard the commotion downstairs, a telltale sign that the Straw Hat crew had finally arrived. With a determined resolve, you shook off your entire feline form, fur disappearing into thin air.

'Alright, Y/N,' you thought to yourself, 'You've got this. It's time to meet them!'

With newfound confidence, you gracefully descended the stairs, your steps quiet but purposeful. As you approached the ground floor, you could clearly hear the crew's conversation, and it piqued your interest.

Taking a moment to compose yourself, you decided on the perfect time to make your appearance. You knew that mentioning Shanks would be the ideal segue into introducing yourself to the group officially.

It was time to reveal your presence and embark on this unexpected journey with the Straw Hat pirates.

You walked towards the entrance to the bar and sat still for a moment, taking in the sight of everyone. Luffy, raiding the fridge while Hachi was on a futon trying to recover from his gunshot wound. While the rest listen in to Rayleigh's explanation.

" I ran into him again on this island about ten years ago, and he had lost his trademark straw hat, along with his left arm. When I asked what had happened, he spoke cheerfully about you."

He smiled towards Luffy while he quickly tried to swallow the food that he had stuffed into his mouth, " Ever since then, I've always wanted to meet you- Monkey D. Luffy."

You positioned yourself near the entrance of the bar, taking a moment to absorb the scene before you. Luffy was raiding the fridge, his ever-present appetite on full display. Hachi was resting on a futon, likely trying to recover from his gunshot wound, while the rest of the crew gathered around Rayleigh, hanging on to his every word.

Rayleigh continued his tale, and you listened intently. "I ran into him again on this island about ten years ago," he explained, "and he had lost his trademark straw hat, along with his left arm. When I asked what had happened, he spoke cheerfully about you."

A warm smile graced Rayleigh's face as he addressed Luffy directly, who was trying to swallow the food he had stuffed into his mouth in his usual carefree manner. "Ever since then," he continued, "I've always wanted to meet you—Monkey D. Luffy."

Luffy's face lit up with a joyous grin as he pulled his straw hat down with both hands, his happiness evident. "Shanks!" he exclaimed, clearly excited by the mention of his friend and mentor.

The room remained hushed as the Straw Hat Pirates absorbed every bit of information Rayleigh shared. After a few moments, you decided it was time to make your presence known. With a graceful step forward, you entered the spotlight.

Your cheerful meow filled the room, instantly capturing the attention of everyone present. In the blink of an eye, Luffy shot up from his seat and charged toward you with his trademark enthusiasm.

He effortlessly scooped you up under your arms, spinning you around in his excitement. While the crew stared in shock at his sudden movement, Zoro in particular fixed his gaze on you, clearly pondering the connection between Luffy and the cat.

"Y/N-Onee Chan! It's been so long! I kept my promise! I finally got to see you again! I can't wait to tell you all about my adventures!" Luffy's joy was infectious, and you couldn't help but appreciate the warm welcome from your supposed childhood friend. However, being spun around like this was quickly making your feline stomach churn.

With a meow that conveyed both happiness and a touch of queasiness, you attempted to communicate, 'It's great to see you again, Luffy! But please put me down! I think I'm gonna puke!'
