Chapter 30 :When In Doubt
You decided to pay a visit to your mother's study room, determined to gather the important documents, books, scrolls, and notebooks you needed for your studies. You had a specific purpose in mind: you wanted to watch Zoro train while you delved into your research.
The only room that provided a convenient view of the front of the castle was your own, and that's where you intended to set up your study.
Carefully, you began to pack the materials you needed for the day's study session. With utmost precision, you selected the most critical documents to go through. As you gathered them into a neat stack, you utilized your levitation powers, lifting the entire bundle effortlessly.
However, as you were about to exit the room, your gaze fell upon the Kimono you had worn during the ritual.
A moment of hesitation washed over you as you contemplated whether to bring it along. Ultimately, you decided to carry it with you into your room, feeling that it held some significance, even if you couldn't quite place it yet.
Arriving in your room, you arranged the books and scrolls on the shelves near your study table.
The sounds of Zoro's intense training outside filled the air—his shouts, his attacks—it was clear he was deep in his efforts to figure out how to defeat the formidable Baboon King.
The vibrations and rumblings of the castle during his training were oddly satisfying to you, a testament to the dedication he was putting into his training.
You also took a moment to hang the Kimono in your wardrobe, its presence adding an enigmatic charm to your room. It was then that you noticed something peculiar about your bedroom: it had a spare room adjacent to it, which you had previously used as a storage space.
You couldn't recall why Dracula Y/N had needed such an extensive storage area, given her minimalist lifestyle, but you made a mental note to discuss it with your father later.
Perhaps it could be repurposed to house all of your mother's study materials, consolidating them into a single space.
For now, you chose to follow Zoro's advice: one step at a time. Settling down at your study table, you donned your new reading glasses and retrieved a fresh notebook. With a sense of contentment, you lit a cigarette and inhaled deeply, allowing the tobacco to wash over you. It was during these moments that you often felt most connected to your past life.
As you exhaled a plume of smoke, you contemplated the task ahead. "Maybe I should start by making a list of what needs to be done."
With the cigarette smoldering away, you began to hum a tune from your previous life, the melody soothing and familiar. With your quill in hand, you started jotting down the crucial points. A smile crept across your face, and your ears twitched with excitement as inspiration flowed.
"There we go!"
You held up the book, reviewing the list to ensure you hadn't missed anything vital.
1.Recover your memories.
2.Discover the nature of your connection with Death.
3.Gain control over your powers.
4.Unlock your remaining two tail powers.
5.Research and train Zoro on Berserker Mode.
6.Investigate the history of Demons.
7.Utilize the Essence Fragments scattered around the house.
8.Continue your mother's research on the Ten-Tail Nekomata.
9.Convince Dad to lessen your punishment.
