Chapter 13 : Y/N-Nee San

In Dragon's firm grip, you found yourself in an uncomfortable position. You hissed and scratched at his arm, expressing your displeasure with being handled in such a manner.

'Just because you're Luffy's dad doesn't mean you can treat me like this!' you protested, your feline instincts refusing to be submissive.

Dragon grunted in response, clearly unphased by your tiny but fierce resistance. He continued onward, leading you through the headquarters until you reached the medical room. As he pushed the door open, a scene unfolded before you.

Sabo lay on a bed, his expression pained even in his unconscious state. Tears welled up in his eyes, and he mumbled your name, apologizing in his sleep. The sight tugged at your heartstrings, evoking empathy and sadness.

With the recognition of Sabo and your surroundings, your fragmented memories started to coalesce. You were the older sister of three younger brothers – Ace, Sabo, and Luffy. The bond between the four of you was unbreakable, and you couldn't help but feel responsible for their well-being.

You seized your struggle as Dragon finally released you, placing you gently on the floor. Without hesitation, you approached Sabo's sleeping form, jumping up onto his chest. Your eyes welled with tears, mirroring the pain that Sabo must have felt as his memories resurfaced.

Dragon joined you by Sabo's bedside, his presence commanding yet surprisingly gentle. He began to speak, addressing you in a measured tone.

"I know you're a Nekomata," Dragon said, acknowledging your unique abilities. "For whatever reason you've chosen to stay in your cat form, I'll respect that decision. But I need answers."

Your ears perked up as you listened to his words. He was willing to give you space and time but sought the truth.

Dragon continued, "I won't force you to speak, but I hope you'll understand that we're here to help. You won't be alone in this. We're a family, and we'll protect each other. Can I count on you not to hurt us?"

You met Dragon's gaze with a mixture of hesitation and curiosity. You nodded in agreement and Dragon walked back out of the medical room, leaving you two alone.

Two days had passed since Sabo's unconsciousness. He was still linked up to an IV drip and an oxygen tank, his frail form a stark contrast to his usual vibrant self. He would occasionally have tears streaming down his face as he called out your name in his sleep. The pain in his heart was evident, even in his dreams.
