Chapter 10 - Actions

TW: Panic Attack

Grians POV

It was the day after Games Night and I couldn't help but think about Scar. He was so nice and kind and God did those clothes look good on him. He suited it so well. Especially the green, it compliments his eyes so well. I don't deserve a friend like him. I might tell him about my mark, it's a very secretive thing to me. He is very trustworthy, hmm I might tell him then.

Scars POV

Cub was over at my house still trying to convince me to confess to Grian.

- Dude, I saw you staring at Gri quite a lot last night (Games night) why don't you confess already. -

Cub had a point, I couldn't keep my eyes off of him for more than 5 minutes. He was just wearing his usual stuff but he looked so delicate and cute. Especially as seen as his jumper is slightly too big considering he's 5'4 and the average here in Hermitcraft is 5'7. He's so petite compared to everyone else.

- Scar stop Daydreaming about him -

Cub was wiggling his eyebrows at me. I covered my face with my hands as it grew considering redder than usual.

- Cub shut up -

I said flustered.

- Soooo, are you going to confess -

Cub replied with.

- Do I have a choice at this rate. No. I'll confess later today just let me think about what to say -

- Scar we both know you're just going to mess up and spit it out, so don't bother trying to plan it. Get your ass out and head to Grian's base already -

Cub smacked my shoulder. It was my sign to get up and head over to Grian's base. I put my flannel on which was green and white plaid. I put my boots on and headed out the door while Cub was grinning at me.

- I'll clean the house up while you're out. Tell me everything when you come back -

Cub said grinning from ear to ear. I nodded and waved as I shut the door behind me. Ready to embark on my adventure to.. my neighbour.

Grians POV

- Xelqua, come home. Your Family misses you dearly. -

This creature was being persistent about me going back home. I ran away for a reason. I didn't want to be controlled by the ruthless Watchers that now would attack every dream I have.

- Just shut up already All, I'm not coming back home. You know I ran away for a reason. -

I yelled, it seemed like I was trapped in a recurring nightmare. A nightmare which was my reality.

- Xelqua I know you think I'm torturing you but your Family misses you. Im trying to convince you to come home and be with your family again so- -

Knock Knock Knock

- Don't answer the door Xelqua he will trick you into loosing your life. -

Knock Knock Knock

- Xelqua don't you dare advance to the door -

I didn't care anymore I was advancing to the door, why should I be scared of the one who only threatens me.

My pace quickened as I heard the voice get louder.

- Xelqua don't you dare. Xelqua stop. Xelqua n- -

I had opened the door and the voice stopped. I was back in the true reality. Tears seemed to be streaming down my face. I looked up at Scar who seemed to be panicking. I then realised how I was breathing. I was having a panic attack.

My breathing quickened as I realised that Scar was having to see me like this. Scar quickly crouched down, asking if I was ok trying to calm me down. He cupped my face. Comforting me.

- Grian, what's wrong. You can tell me everything -

My breathing quickened even more. Scar had moved closer cupping my face with his other hand again now. Tears raced down my face. I started to sob while my throat closed up.

Scars POV

Grian didn't seem to be calming down anymore so I panicked. I didn't know what to do in this sort of situation. I didn't realise that I was slowly getting closer to him and.. I was cupping his face? What was happening to me. I didn't know what was happening anymore. Next thing you know I had kissed his nose gently. I stayed there for a good second or two before backing away. I looked into Grian's eyes. My forehead pressed against his. I gently wiped his tears away, smiling softly. He seemed to have calmed down.

- you ok now Gri? -

I asked calmly making sure not to spook him.

- Y-you just k-kissed my nose? -

He seemed shocked. I suddenly realised what had happened and quickly stood up brushing myself off, slowing going red. I covered my face from embarrassment.

- So sorry Gri, I don't know what ca- -

Grian gently went on his tiptoes and kissed my cheek softly. I went brighter red as he did so.

- It's fine Scar, thank you for calming me down. -

He whispered gently.

- if it wasn't for you I would probably still having it -

He looked so cute. I just stared back at his soft smile and bright hazel eyes. I gently brushed some hair out of his eyes. Cupping his face again. I smiled gently.

- No problem Gri, I better get going though. I was just popping in to make sure you were ok -

I lied through my teeth, I had panicked like what Cub had said. I kissed Grians head before waving goodbye and walking out covering my bright red face. I flew back to my base to tell Cub everything. It was going to be a very long conversation.

I had landed back at my base opening the door. Cub was sitting on the sofa across from the door grinning at me.

- Sooo~? -

Cub questioned. I told him everything in one breath.

- You didn't tell him! -

Cub shouted disappointed at me.

- I know, I panicked sorry -

I replied with. Cub patted me on the back.

- At least you tried. He kissed you back right? I mean im guessing he likes you then considering he well, kissed you back. -

I nodded before smiling again.

- You know, he kind of tasted like chicken. I get that he's a parrot and everything but he's a parrot not a chicken -

Cub laughed at my words, i joined in with him.

- aren't you a vegetarian -

Cub spluttered through a laugh. I nodded while laughing with him.

Grians POV

Omg. Scar had just walked out and he kissed my nose?! I kissed his cheek!?!
Omg. I face palmed myself, making my skin get pulled ad I dragged my hands down my face. It was, good. I enjoyed it. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME.

- He's just a friend Gri, Just a friend -

I muttered to myself, blushing.

I got changed into my onesie and flopped down on my bed. For the rest of the night I could only think of him and our interaction earlier.
