Days passed slowly but the D-day finally arrived and we were at the airport food court.

The airport was packed! How many people are travelling that too during off season?
And due to this heavy crowd, I could not spot Gauri.

My seat is luckily the window one so I'm just going to pop in my earphones and play some cool music and sleep. Afterall we had to wake up at 5 am to reach the airport.

"Where is your seat?" Shaurya, like always, popped out of nowhere and asked.
"14A, and yours?"
"17C" he replied with a sulked expression.

"Good." I replied and he looked at me baffled
"Good? You do not enjoy my company??"
"I do. But we're together all the time."
"We're the THE duo, uk"
I rolled my eyes and scrolled my phone.

The boarding had started and I was standing in the line build up in the aisle of the plane. The uncle infront of me was struggling to keep his carry on mini luggage in the overhead cabin.

I offered my help to him and he smiled at me
and said, "thank you beta, have a great flight."
I smiled at him slightly as it felt nice to hear that from him.

Finally, I could walk to my seat and as soon as I reached, I saw her.

Oh boy the blessing worked.

She looked at me and looked slightly surprised but soon smiled. She was sitting in the middle seat.

I kinda froze and stumbled to sit.

Embarrassing.

I sat down and we both looked at eachother and smiled. Then I looked away and outside the window.

2 minutes later I saw another dude sit on the aisle seat. I tried to slightly peek at his face and shit did he look good.

Not saying in a gay way rather the "she is in middle" way.

There goes my happiness outside the sealed window of this aircraft.

Gauri's POV

Shekhar and my seat are together.

I'm trying not to panic. Calm down Gauri. Don't fall for this.

The other guy beside me was drinking water from his plastic bottle and the cap fell from his grip.

It fell near my feet so I bend down to pick it up and so did he and our hands slightly touched.
I retreated my hand and he picked up the cap from the ground and smiled at me.

His smile was weird. I'm already uncomfortable. I smiled back slightly to not look rude and quickly looked away.

Shekhar's POV

Their hands touched didn't they.

I sighed and saw him smiling at her and she smiled back.
