(scene opens to Adventure Beach where Mason is relaxing with Melody, Mirage, Flotsam, and Tidal)
Flotsam: It's great coming to the beach to relax, right guys!
Melody: Yep! I have to admit, we really did become good friends since you came along!
Flotsam: (giggles) I feel the same Melody!
Mirage and Tidal: Yep!
Ryder's voice: Hi guys!
(Mason and the magic pups look over)
Mason: Hi Ryder, me and the girls are just relaxing!
Everest: (walks over with Jake) Hi everyone!
Pups: (happily) Everest!
Flotsam: (sneezes causing ink to come out of her mouth and at Everest)
Everest: Gah! (ink on her face) (disgusted) Eww!
Flotsam: (regretfully) I'm so sorry Everest, that was a total accident!
Everest: (sighs) I know!
Flotsam: But don't worry, kraken pup ink can come off pretty easy! It's eco-friendly and biodegradable!
Mason: All she's missing is a sapphire!
Ryder and Everest: (confused) A sapphire?
Mason: It's for that kraken pup recipe!
Ryder: You mean the one your team found with two others?
Mason: (nods)
Everest: How does that work anyway?
Mason: From what I learned when Chase became an ifrit pup, it's possible with the other ingredients a normal pup could become a magic pup from the recipe followed.
Everest: What else is needed?
Mason: I have a copy of the scroll! (reveals it) Let's see! Fur of pup, ink of kraken pup, one sapphire, and presence of source or user of magic!
Marshall: (confused) Um?
Mason: Combine the kraken ink on her fur plus Melody and Mirage standing nearby, only thing missing is a sapphire!
Mirage: You mean like this one? (pulls one out of her fur)
Everest: Ooh, can I see it Mirage!
Mirage: Okay! (gives Everest the gemstone)
Everest: (glowing) (surprised) Whoa, what's happening?
(flash of light)
Everest: (now a kraken pup with a necklace under her collar) (groans) What happened?
Ryder, Jake and Pups: (surprised) Whoa!
Everest: (confused) What?
Mirage: (summons a mirror) Here you go!
Everest: (looks at mirror) Besides the necklace, nothing looks different?
Mirage: Check your sides!
Everest: (looks over finding herself with extra legs with suction cups) Gah! I'm part octopus!
Flotsam: More like a squid with ten limbs!
Everest: (looks at herself) True! But I look freaky, (realizes) sorry about saying that!
Flotsam and Tidal: (giggles) We're used to it, Everest, plus you're just shocked about what happened to your body!
Everest: (nods)
