8 - Welcome to the 72nd Hunger Games

[Viv, Bradley and Seeder are all together for the final time before all having to separate.]

Seeder: They put all kinds of stuff right in front of you, right in the mouth of the Cornucopia. There will be knives, swords, there will even be a scythe there.

[Seeder looks Viv in the eye.]

Seeder: Don't go for it.

Viv: Why not?

Seeder: It's a bloodbath. They're trying to pull you in. That's not your game. You turn. Turn and find a high ground.

Blake winced at the reminder of the bloodbath. She had never seen anything so horrific before. So much blood. She started zoning out, thinking about the bloodbath, which Natasha quickly realised, so she gently shook her fiance, bringing her back. Natasha gently pecked Blake's lips, which caused them both to gently smile at each other.

[Viv nods]

Seeder: Look for water. Water is your new best friend. Don't step off that pedestal early; they'll blow you sky high.

Viv: Okay, we won't.

[Viv looks at Bradley, who is nodding.]

Seeder: [Sighs] This is where I must leave you when they tell you you'll board that plane with the other contestant. Good Luck.

[Seeder gives a pat on the back to both Bradley and Vivienne before walking off towards the other mentors.]

[Viv takes a deep breath, turns to Brad, and places her hands on his shoulder.]

Viv: The second the timer runs out, I want you to run. Don't look back or stop until you are far away. I'll keep an eye out for you in the Cornucopia. I'll find you, don't worry.

[Brad nods but starts getting visibly panicked.]

Brad: What if you can't find me?

Everyone was feeling dread build up inside them. They could pretty much feel the panic and unease coming from Blake and the young boy on the screen.

Viv: That won't happen. I'll be right behind you. You're gonna be okay. I don't want you running across the Cornucopia to get to me, okay?

Brad: Okay.

Viv: Good. Now give me a hug.

[Brad doesn't waste a second and jumps into Viv's arms.]

Speaker: Male tributes onto the aircraft.

Brad: I don't wanna go.

Viv: I know you don't. But you're gonna be okay. You'll see me soon.

[Brad doesn't respond and slowly lets go of Viv and walks to the aircraft with the other male tributes.]

[Viv looks around the room and takes a deep breath, grounding herself.]

Speaker: Female tributes onto the aircraft.

[The scene changes to Viv sitting on the aircraft with a peacemaker walking around injecting something into people's arms.]

Peacemaker: Give me your arm.

Peacemaker: Give me your arm.

Peacemaker: Give me your arm.

Viv: What is that?

[Peacemaker injects tracker into Viv's arm.]

Peacemaker: Your tracker.
