Episode 1.2 - The Victor's Return

[The scene changes to Caesar introducing the show, with a massive audience and cameras covering every possible angle.]

Caesar: Welcome! Welcome! Ladies and Gentlemen! Welcome to the Victors Interview of the 72nd Annual Hunger Games!

[The audience is shown screaming and cheering; it's off-putting how enthusiastic they are.]

"How are they so enthusiastic over this game? They are all dishonourable people who will be sent to Hel," Thor exclaimed.

Caesar: Yes, I know it's exciting.

[The audience calms down.]

Caesar: Now we had a fantastic Hunger Games. I think we can all agree?

[The audience starts clapping and cheering once again.]

"God. Watching this as an actual talk show makes me uncomfortable. How can people watch this shit and not see how wrong it is?" Scott asked out loud. No one responded. No one knew how to answer. All that was heard from the room was Steve muttering a small "Language" under his breath.

Caesar: As you know, we are going to look through the highlights of our Victor, but we can't do that without the woman of the hour. So please welcome to the stage the Victor of the 72nd Annual Hunger Games – our Raven – District 11's, Vivienne Blake!

[Cheering is heard clearly louder than it has been so far.]

[Viv walks onto the stage with a massive smile on her face – however, if you know her, you can see how fake it looks – she is enthusiastically waving towards that crowd.]

The Avengers have all known Blake long enough to know when she is faking any type of emotion. They can all clearly see how fake the smile on her face is. They don't blame her at all for it. If they were put in that situation, they don't think they'd even be able to fake that smile to begin with.

What does shock them is how no one in the Capitol can tell that it is fake.

Caesar: Welcome back, Vivienne. It is so lovely to have you back here.

[Caesar pulls Viv into a tight hug, whispering something into her ear, causing her to laugh lightly and shake her head.]

Viv: [Directs at the audience] It's lovely to be back here with you all.

Everyone immediately recognised how strained her voice was. They had never heard her sound so in pain. It hurt them to see and hear her this way.

[The audience cheers again.]

Viv: And I am so glad to get the opportunity to see you again, Caesar!

Caesar: Aw, isn't she sweet! Take a seat, darling, take a seat.

[Viv does as he said, and Caesar turns to look directly at Viv.]

Caesar: Now, Vivienne, we are going to be looking through the highlights of your games here tonight, and let me tell you, what an incredible game you have had. Everyone here in the Capitol was rooting for you! Isn't that right, ladies and gentlemen?!

[Once again, the audience is cheering.]

Caesar: The 72nd Hunger Games was very unique; we have never had anything quite like it. This was Seneca's first arena design and my goodness, we were impressed!

[The audience cheered again. It was almost robotic with how much they were cheering.]

Caesar: Now, Vivienne -
