Episode 6.2 - The Victor's Tributes pt.2

[A few days after the beginning of the games, Sarah is still alive.]

[Currently, she is inside one of the buildings collecting food and water off some of the shelves.]

[Viv was quick to note how there were fewer traps and obstacles in this year's Hunger Games compared to what she had to go through last year.]

[The last few days, Viv has been trying her hardest to raise credits so she could save up to send a sponsor to Sarah if she needs it. However, other than that, there wasn't much she could do.]

[We can see Vivienne eating an apple while watching her tablet, which showcases Sarah.]

[Viv was tired, like she hadn't slept since the beginning of the games, and truth be told, she hadn't. In her mind, if Sarah couldn't sleep without knowing if she was ever going to wake up, she didn't want to sleep.]

"No offence мой ворон, but you look awful," Natasha murmured to Blake with a frown present on her face. Natasha hated seeing her lover like this, so fragile and broken. Blake is typically such a hard shell nothing could get to her, so it was rare to see her like this. (My Raven.)

"Thanks for the confidence boost, мой паук," Blake responded sarcastically.

The couple held eye contact for a moment before smiling lovingly at each other. The look causes Yelena to gag; however, a lot of them look at the couple in slight jealousy.

Tony was still separated from Pepper; he missed the times they spent together. They had a lot to work out, but he knew they would eventually.

Clint looked at them, remembering his own wife and his family. He regretted coming when the Captain called. In his offence, the Captain seemed to blackmail him, saying Wanda was on his side. Steve knew Wanda was a weak spot for Clint, knowing that her brother gave his life so he could live, and Steve took advantage of that.

Mr. America himself looked at them, and despite having now been out of the ice for 6 years, his mind still drifts to Peggy Carter. The girl he kissed once.

(Sorry, there is a bit of Steve slander in this chapter; I'm just not the biggest fan of the MCU's portrayal of Steve.)

Bruce looked on in a different type of jealousy. The man had a crush on Natasha since the moment he met her. She had never shown interest in him, but that didn't stop him. He had tried in the past to flirt with Natasha, but she was quick to shut it down. Bruce and Natasha had never been close because of this, leaving a constant pang of jealousy in Bruce's heart whenever he sees the couple.

(I'm also absolutely disgusted by Brutasha, so having Natasha shut it down is the best way for everything, in my opinion.)

Wanda happily watches the couple, hoping that one day her relationship with Vision will reach the standard she has set herself after seeing Blake and Natasha's relationship.

[Viv found herself watching Sarah as she slept, keeping an eye out to make sure no one was approaching. That way, she could send a useless sponsor in hopes of just waking her up.]

[After a while of sitting alone, someone sits opposite her.]

[She looks up and smiles slightly when she sees that it is Haymitch.]

[He slides a glass over to her. Of course, it was alcohol, a mimosa, to be exact.]

[Vivienne found herself drinking a lot more these past few days than she had in the past. Having to watch the games was taking a toll on her, and drinking – like many of the other Victors – was a coping mechanism she found herself falling into.]
