Episode 3.2 - The Victors' Secret

[The scene starts with a close-up of two people's arms linked together.]

[The view expands, and we see Finnick Odair and Vivienne Blake walking into a Capitol party together.]

[Finnick is wearing an all-black suit that fits perfectly, not a single thread out of place. His smile was dashing and would cause anyone to swoon.]

[Vivienne is wearing a long red dress with a slit up the side revealing her leg; the cut of the dress exposed her chest. Her dark hair was half up, half down. She was breathtaking.]

"It may not be the time, but you look absolutely stunning мой маленький ворон," Natasha whispers into Blake's ear. (My little Raven)

Blake blushes at the compliment, causing Natasha to chuckle and smirk, but then places a kiss on Blake's forehead.

Most people were watching the screen and didn't notice their interaction; however, Clint couldn't help but smile at the couple. They were perfect for each other and brought out the best of the other person. They were soulmates in his eyes.

[Everyone stopped for a moment when the pair of victors entered the room together.]

[As everyone began to continue what they were doing, Viv and Finnick looked towards each other, smiled, and nodded.]

[Finnick leaned forward and placed a gentle kiss on Viv's cheek before they both separated.]

[Viv went to grab a drink but was quickly interrupted by a man who began a conversation with her.]

Plutonio: Good evening, darling, I'm Plutonio Luxe.

[Viv turns to face him and smiles.]

Viv: Good evening, Mr. Luxe, it's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Vivienne Blake.

Pluto: Oh, I know who you are, Ms. Blake, but please just call me Pluto.

Viv: Of course, then you can call me Viv.

Pluto: How does it feel to be a Victor? Everything around you must be so different from District 11.

[Viv grabs two drinks from an Avox walking by and passes one to Pluto, causing him to smile before answering his question.]

"I'm at least going to be drunk if I was going to have to deal with that shit," Blake mutters in disgust, which causes her lover to smirk and chuckle.

Viv: Well, the Capitol is lovely. It is taking some time to get used to. All the people have been so loving and kind.

Pluto: hmm.

[Pluto continues the conversation with Viv for some time. He not so subtly checks her out from head to toe before biting his lip while he smirks.]

Pluto: Come, I want you to meet my wife.

They were all confused. This man was married, yet he was openly flirting with Blake. And now he is introducing Blake to his wife.

"What is happening?" Sam mutters.

"No idea, Birdbrain." Bucky returns, causing Sam to scowl at the nickname.

[Pluto places an arm around her waist, holding her close as he guides her through the party until they come face to face with a woman.]

Pluto: Viv, this is my wife, Saffron Seraphina-Luxe. Saf, this is the most recent Victor, Vivienne Blake.

[Viv smiles towards the woman and holds out her hand for a handshake.]

Viv: It's lovely to meet you, Saffron.

[Saffron doesn't immediately respond; he just looks over Viv, checking her out like Pluto had done just before.]

[She looked over at her husband, smirked slightly and nodded.]

Everyone's eyes now widen in shock as they realise what was happening. They both wanted to be with Blake.

Saffron: It's lovely to meet you too, Vivienne.

[For the rest of the night, either Saffron or Pluto is glued to Vivienne's waist, talking and flirting with her.]

[Pluto is seen grabbing his wife's hand, bringing her close to Viv as he whispers in her ear.]

[She nods and nervously smiles towards the couple.]

[Pluto grabs Viv's hand, and the trio are seen leaving the party.]

[Finnick is seen standing with a woman touching his abs and chest.]

[Viv and Finnick make eye contact and send each other small, sad smiles with a slight nod of their heads.]

[Viv is now seen getting into the back of a black car along with Pluto and Saffron.]

[The scene cuts to Viv lying in bed with Pluto and Saffron sprawled out on either side of her.]

[A single tear leaves her eye.]

The Avengers once again became mad at what happened to Viv. They hated it. They were watching this, and it's in the past, and they feel guilty that they were never able to help her.

[The scene cuts to her gathering her belongings and picking up a folded piece of paper.]

[She stares at the paper for a moment before placing it into her bra.

[The scene changes again to Viv now back in her apartment showering.]

[She is scrubbing her skin clean, almost raw, with the strength she was using.]

[When she gets out of the shower, she just stands there and looks at herself in the mirror for a moment.]

[Bags under her eyes are prominent, her skin is red, the whites of her eyes have also turned red from her crying, and she looks pale. She looks sick.]

At the sight of Blake on screen, Natasha increases her hold on her fiancé. She hated seeing her like that. Lost, sad, in pain. From now on, she was going to shield Blake from everything bad in the world. Whatever it takes.

[Viv walks through her apartment, dropping the piece of paper onto the coffee table before moving into the bedroom.]

[She carefully climbed into bed and grabbed one of the few pictures she owned. It was of Blake, Luna, Thresh, Ms. Blake, Mr. Martins, and all of Brad's brother.]

[She looked at the picture, and after a moment, she started sobbing until she pretty much passed out.]
