Episode 3.1 - The Victors' Secret

[The words' 3 months later' are displayed across a black screen.]

[A room full of dressed-up people from the Capitol attending a party, they are dancing, eating, drinking, and chatting.]

Blake immediately tenses. This is something that she had always kept hidden. Hell, she only just told Natasha about an hour ago. It was something she was ashamed of; she may not have had a choice, but it still hurt.

Natasha notices Blake tense and guides her head into the crook of her neck so that Blake doesn't have to watch what is happening on screen. She may not know exactly what is about to happen on screen, but based on the conversation the pair had just before starting the movie, she could make a wild guess.

Nat hated that this happened, Blake. She just wanted to protect her from the world and hide her away. She didn't deserve this. No one did.

[A close of a hand around someone wearing a fancy dress is shown.]

[The view widens to show it to be Vivienne. She has a fake smile while chatting to a random couple.]

The group of Avengers around the room furrowed their eyebrows in confusion.

"What is happening here," Sam whispered. The ones who heard him just shrugged their shoulders, causing him to frown.

[The person who has his arm around her waist is a man with a well-groomed beard and silver hair.]

[A man ends the conversation, pulling Viv with him.]

[Eventually, the man stops walking, looks at Vivienne and pulls her into a short kiss.]

Everyone's eyes widen at the sight. Vivienne has openly stated that she has never had any attraction to any man in the past or present, and from what they've known, Natasha is the only relationship she has been in. So why the hell is this man kissing her?

Blake is still hidden in Natasha's shoulder, and Natasha's grip on her increases at the sight. She just wants to protect her Blake.

[He then leans over and whispers something into her ear.]

[She visibly pales but puts on a fake smile and nods, allowing his to take his hand as he guides her upstairs.]

[The next shot is both the man and Viv kissing in a bed. The man on top.]

"What the actual fuck?!" Tony whisper-shouts, causing Natasha to glare at him. Natasha was about to shout at him for his reaction, but Blake kissed her neck before turning to face her teammates, who all held shocked expressions.

She signs before explaining, "This is what Snow talked about in the last episode of this thing. Victors are seen as being desirable, so Snow sells us. And if you refuse, he will kill everyone you love. He did it to my best friend Johanna, and he did it to several other victors. I had no choice. Now, can we move on?"

Everyone looked at her with pity. She hated it. So, she hugged herself back into Natasha's side, gripping her shirt tightly, almost like a scared child. Natasha didn't say anything to her; instead, she wrapped her arms around Blake and kissed her forehead. She knew words wouldn't help her, so she resorted to physical affection. She was showing with her actions that she was there for Blake and that she would be there if she needed anything.

[Finally, everything stops; an above shot is shown of them both in bed. The man completely passed out while Vivienne stared numbly at the ceiling.]
