Episode 5.2 - The Victors' Tributes pt.1

[The train is seen pulling up into the Capitol station before changing to a scene of Viv, Sarah, and Robert preparing to leave the train.]

Viv: This is where the Games truly begin. There will be a massive crowd the second these doors open. Try to interact like I said and get them to like you. I know you don't want to do it, but do your best to smile.

[Sarah and Robert nod at Viv's words.]

Viv: Now, I'll walk with you through the crowds, but then you'll both be taken to be prepared. I'm sorry to say you won't like it, but sadly, there is no way to get out of it. You'll then be escorted to the tributes parade, once again using it as an opportunity to win people over. I will meet you straight after the parade and will take you to our room.

Sarah and Robert: Okay.

Viv: Good luck.

It was so strange watching Blake like this. With The Avengers, Blake is the planner, knows how to do everything, and is the type of person to inspire others to keep going. However, they are watching the first time she has ever been put into that position. She seemed stiff and nervous, the complete opposite of how she is today.

[The victor and two tributes are seen walking off the train only to be immediately drowned by people screaming and shouting.]

[Viv smiles and waves at the crowd while encouraging the two to do the same.]

[Once they got to the end, the two tributes were immediately ushered off, leaving Viv alone to look around the tribute centre.]

[She was standing alone; however, suddenly, someone put their arm around her shoulder, making her jump before turning around.]

[She lets out a sigh of relief when she notices who it is.]

Johanna: Hey Vivi, long time no see!

[Johanna has a giant smile on her face and quickly leans in and kisses Viv on the cheek.]

[Viv smiles towards the girl and pulls her into a hug.]

Viv: Johanna, you have no idea how good it is to see you.

Johanna: [chuckles] I know, I'm great, I'd miss me too.

[Viv just smiles and shakes her head at the girl. She truly had missed the girl. Due to Johanna's refusal to do what Snow tells her, she was never in the Capitol except to mentor. However, it came at a cost. Her whole family 'mysteriously' died one night. But now there was nothing for the Capitol to use as leverage over Johanna.]

Johanna: Let's move. I'm pretty sure Seaweed Man is waiting for us somewhere.

Viv smiles at the screen; she misses her friends, and despite the dire situation, they make each other feel better. They survived the harsh realities together.

[The two girls walk into a different room. It's where all the parade chariots are led after the parade.]

[Johanna and Viv found somewhere to sit as they couldn't immediately find Finnick. The two were catching up when suddenly a man of muscle walked up to them with a broad smile covering his entire face.]

Finnick: Well, hello, two of my favourite ladies. What a coincidence seeing you both here.

[Viv and Johanna both stand up to hug the boy.]

[Now the trio have been fully reunited, they all sit down and start talking.]

Finnick: So, how are your tributes this year?
