I rub my sweaty hands together while fidgeting on my spot. I was nervous for whatever reason.

Kasalukuyan lang naman akong nandito sa harapan ng bahay ng magandang dyosa na unang umagaw ng atensyon ko.

Tumawag kasi si Tita Dorothy kagabi aka si future mother-in-law yiehh.

Pinakiusapan niya ako kung pwede ko daw samahan yung anak niya sa bookstore kasi may mga needs daw itong bilhin na supplies para sa school.

Syempre papakipot pa ba tayo lalo na si future mother in law na yung nakiusap?

Of course not. Never magiging chossy para kay future wifey.

The truth is, I'm also looking forward to spend time with my mahal--este ni Scarlet pala and possibly got the chance to know her better. 
 
But in my current state, I don't think I could even manage to strike up a regular conversation with her without running the risk of being a stuttering mess and embarrassing myself.
 
This is already a bad sign. Should I just back out?
 
An exasperated grumble left my mouth as I ruffled my hair out of frustration. As I did so, that was the exact moment the entrance door swung open, startling me.

Natuod na ata ako sa kintatayuan ko ng makitang muli ang napakagandang mukha nito.
 
Shuta, bakit ba sobrang ganda nitong babaeng 'to?
 
Minutes and seconds passed, and I was still gawking at her like an idiot. Until her perfectly sculpted eyebrows arched confusedly, snapping me out of my haze.

"Uhm, h- hi Scarlet. I'm...I'm here to pick you up. Are- are you r-ready?"
 
She stared at me for a moment but didn't utter a word. Medyo na-coconcious narin ako dahil sobrang intense ng tingin nito.

Careful there, woman. Baka may mahimatay na naman dito oh.

Nakakatunaw yung tingin syete. 
 
Then pink plump lips slowly stretch into a smile before it turns into a soft giggle. 

"You're cute when you're embarrassed, you know," the beaming girl said carelessly as another chuckle left her mouth before eventually passing past my stunned form.
 
She did not just say... that. 
 
God, why is she so freaking irresistible?

Ilang oras din ang na consume namin sa loob ng book store kakahanap ng mga materials na kailangan ni Scarlet. Buti nalang hindi ganun karami ang customers sa loob kasi nakakahilo din pala yung magpa-ikot ikot sa bawat shelves, sa laki ba naman nitong area. Buti nalang at hindi ganun karami ang binili nitong si Mahal.

Matapos namin makuha lahat ng mga kailangan ay nagbayad na kami agad sa counter.

Bitbit ang mga pinamili, nagdecide na kaming lumabas ng mall. Tinanong ko nga muna siya kung may need pa ba siyang bilhin pero ang sabi lang naman niya ay wala na.

Balak nga rin sana naming mag-order ng pagkain sa loob kaya lang sa sobrang dami ng tao na nakapila pareho na kaming tinamad. Kaya ang ending nag drive thru nalang kami.
 
"So how was it?"
 
I turned my head to face my companion, licking off the ice cream in my hand. Pagkatapos kasi naming mag order sa drive thru nag-ayaya itong si bebe loves kung pwede dumaan muna kami dito sa park.

Syempre, sino ba tayo para tumanggi sa request ng mahal natin?

My face probably has this confused expression because she started to giggle.

Ginagawa na ata akong clown nito eh? Kanina pa kasi niya parang pinagtatawanan yung pagmumukha ko. Sa ganda kong to? Hmmp! Pasalamat ka talaga bebe loves kita kundi naku.
 
"Hilig mo bang gawin yan?" I asked, a small frown still visible in my face.
 
I saw how she blinked her eyes at me in confusion.
 
"Huh? What do you mean?"
 
"Pansin ko lang trip mo laging tawanan yung facial expressions ko"
