Chapter 18

"Please don't make me. Anywhere but Severus. Please." I begged, but uncle Remus said nothing. I pouted for a bit, and he still didn't give in. "Fine."

After a few hours of assuring Madame Pomfrey that I was fine, I walked around the castle a bit. I hadn't been there often, but often enough that I know my way around. Before my nightmares, I would stay here often with Severus.

Nothing really happened, besides Severus trying to talk to me, and I tried. Its just, I ran away in the opposite direction every time he raised his hand, afraid it was for me. Nonsense things like that had terrified me. I hoped the next few nights would go quickly, so uncle Remus could take me shopping for Durmstrang.

---------------

"S-Severus?" I asked, shaking. I know I shouldn't be scared of him, because of some silly night terrors, but I can't help but think that he'll do something.

"Yes?" He said, but not in a rude way. He was some last minute papers for the upcoming school year. His gaze softened and he spoke softly.

"I-its 9:30. C-Can y-you, um-" I started stuttering, but he interrupted.

"Merlin, already?!" he exclaimed, throwing down his papers. I nodded. "Go get your trunk and meet me by the fireplace, alright?" I nodded again, and ran to my room. This is the first time I've stayed with Severus and I didn't stay in my room the whole time. Now, I know Hogwarts like the back of my hand.

A few minutes later, I was dragging my trunk down the hall, and met my uncle by the fireplace.

"Hold on to your trunk tightly, and say 'Platform 8 1/2, Bucharest Station' clearly." the professor explained. I nodded, and clambered into the fireplace.

"Platform 8 1/2, Bucharest Station!" I shouted, dropping the powder and holding on to my trunk.

I never liked the feeling of floo powder. Never. So, when I got to the correct fireplace at King's Cross, I tumbled out like usual when I use this transportation.

And of course, I tumble into a person.

"I'm so sorry! I've never gotten the hang of this!" I apologized, standing up.

"It is fine. Don't worry about it." the boy replied, laughing. I noticed his Bulgarian accent, which was awesome by the way.

"I am Vicktor Krum. And vho do I owe the pleasure of meeting?" he asked. I gave a small smile and answered in a quiet voice.

"Jamie Evans. Pleased to meet you."

"Jamie? Is that you?" I heard Severus call. I turned around and saw him standing behind me.

"Hello Uncle Severus. I'll meet you on the train then, Vicktor." I replied and Vicktor nodded, and said goodbye to his parents (I assumed) before getting on the train.
