Chapter 46

"We have to get Jamie to safety before what happens. If something goes wrong, all hell will break loose and the time as a whole will be split." I barely finished reciting the words, when the person jumped from behind the door and dragged me inside.

"What do you think you're doing here without telling me? Do you have any idea how freaking terrified I was that it was a Death Eater knocking on my door?!" My friend shouted, pulling down her hood and pulling a hand through her hair. I rolled my eyes and gave a small smile.

"I have some things to do and I need you're help."

"Well, let the fun begin." She said, hugging me tight. I hugged her back and I told her my plan to save people.

Ari and I spent about an hour, planning every little detail of our journey. Since she didn't know the spell, she was just going to come with me, and basically be lookout. She also volunteered to send a patronus a few minutes before we would leave telling them we'd be coming, so we wouldn't scare the living hell out of them. 

"Alright, send a patronus to James and Lily now, and we'll apparate in a minute or so." I said, grabbing some granola bars and water bottles and throwing them in my bag. She nodded and did so. Ari walked down the hall and came back a minute later, a jean-material back pack in her hand. She opened in, and I watched her grab a apple and banana and after placing a spell (probably so they wouldn't rot or mush) threw them in her bag, along with a few granola bars, a jar of peanut butter, two spoons, and a few water bottles.

"You're sharing the peanut butter, right?" I asked jokingly. Ari's eyes went wide and she grabbed the jar shaking her head.

"No. My peanut butter." She defended. I rolled my eyes and walked towards the door. Pulling on my cloak, Ari walked over and pulled on her's and we apparated to Godric's Hollow.

We met up in front of their house, just before the charm line. I grabbed her hand and walked through the charm and up to the door. Letting go, I knocked lightly on the door.

The door opened about half a foot, and a wand pointed out from behind it.

"Who's there?" a male voice said from the other side demanded.

"Raelyn Lupin, nee Potter and Arielle Malloy." I said strongly.

"What's the last thing James Potter said to you?"

"Keep my son and my wife safe. I will haunt you for lifetimes if either die because you could save them and I couldn't." The wand went back behind the door and it opened wider.

"Get in, quick." James said, backing up so we could go in.

"Would you calm down, your house is under millions of charms, no one can get through. Stop worrying so much anyways. That's Lily's job." I joked, and Ari and I sat down on the couch. James sat across from us and Lily came and joined us with little Harry. Of course, Ari and I cooed over the baby for a few minutes, then we got down to business.

"James, Lily, we came here for a reason. Not just to hang out." Ari said, taking her original seat on the couch. I copied her actions, and pulled a serious look.
